I tilted my head as I processed his revelation. Who is 'she'? Was it Allanis? Maybe, because she's the only one who was close to me. But why would she say that? She knows that I really like Lucas back then.
"I asked her about you one time, because I was looking for you. She asked me why so I told her that I wanted to ask you to be my… date for the prom," he continued when I didn't spoke.
My eyes widened. That happened?! He wanted to ask me to be his date that time? But he didn't even ask me, right? Despite my eagerness to say something, I let him talk more. My hunger for truth is much more important, I guess.
