He offered me a ride to the location but I resisted. I have my car with me and I didn't want to bother him. In the end, he just agreed knowing how persistent I am and accompanied me to the basement parking instead.
Wearing a white spaghetti strap top, black slacks, and blazers, I entered the steakhouse that Engineer Chase chose for us.
"I have a reservation with engineer Chase Vasquez," I told the receptionist.
She smiled at me and guided me towards a more private part of the whole place. I am early for five minutes so my client wouldn't have to wait but I was surprised that he was already there, accompanied with a bottle of wine.
"I'm sorry, it looks like I ended up tardy," I laughed. Upon seeing me, Chase stood up and offered a hand. I accepted and shook it as we sat down to start the appointment.
"No, it's okay. I was just too early for this," he retorted. The waiter then handed us the menu and we proceeded ordering our lunch.
