Shan sighed heavily as she sat down at the vacant seat beside me.
"So how are things going for you?" she asked after a good sip of red wine she brought all the way from her Italy trip.
"Things have never been this quiet, still," I retorted.
"What's that supposed to mean?" she then looked around with this expression that makes her a lot more stupid. "Pretty much the same to me,"
Yup, she's dumb. I don't know if she's doing that on purpose to make things lighter or she's acting all normal. But either way, it didn't really change my perspective towards her.
But hey, we're cousins so it goes the same for me.
I rolled my eyes and did not feel the need to clarify things for her, but then, she added: "No, seriously Jiana, why?"
"Does it look the f*cking same to you?"
She didn't said anything and just like any of my family members—and Lucas, she stared at me with eyes with what it seems like filled with pity.
