Emily came back to her ranch panting. Her mom asked what happened and all she could mumble out was "Gunshots? Horse neighs?" Her mom panicked knowing exactly what Emily was talking about horse hunters and capturers. Her mom was about ready to run in the forest but the sky was dark too dark to see in the forest and she lead Emily inside for some cottage cheese. The next morning Emily's mom let the new horses that were brought in pick a rider. Yes in the ranch riders don't pick their horses they let the horse pick the rider, doing this they can create a stronger bond. Of course Emily just sat in her house doing nothing while her dad and brother let the horses pick them. Her little brother was picked by a tan almost pumpkin color pony.Emily's dad was picked by a old grey mustang that was abused. "Wow all of them seems to have a big connection" Emily said peaking out of her window. "It would take some courage for an abused horse to warm up so quickly to a person you two are really meant for each other" mom exclaimed. Everyone grinned and laughed but Emily frowned. She was sad that she couldn't have a connection with animals not even the ones that's been around her for years. Then she peered into the forest near her home.Slowly opening the door she got out form her home and walked to the forest. As her mom trained Emily's brother and dad her mom didn't notice a thing. Emily couldn't stop thinking of what was going on in the forest yesterday. Walking down the same path she tried to remember where she went the other time. Today the wind blew hard and the leaves in the forest were making load noises making her feel uneasy. Walking deeper to the forest she saw that it leaded her to a big field. Looking around she realized there was a lot of horses all seemed to be wild. Shivering in fear again as she look at the horses size and the way they fought. But all of a sudden she took a step forward as if the wind pushed her to walk. She who was scared of animals especially horses is now walking closer to the herd. The horses noticed her fast and backed up rearing telling her to leave. But how much Emily did want to leave she couldn't stop walking closer something was special but she didn't know what. Every step chills ran down her back the horses were big and wild and they were a bit aggressive. All of a sudden out of the herd of horses walked out the most prettiest horse she had ever seen. Her eyes lit up and the sensation to get closer came stronger her fear slowly fade but at the same time it was still there. But this horse was so beautiful. It was a blue roan colored horse.Blue roan horses are basically a mix of black speck coloring with a sheen of darkish blue kind of color. Not only was this horse pretty it trusted Emily a lot. But soon as one of its herd members ran of so did the pretty horse and it's herd. "Miracle" I'll call it Miracle thanks for helping me with my fears girl. Walking home her fear of animals was gone from the small snakes in the forest to birds she felt calm and happy. "Finally I can feel what it's like to love animals".
