Gordon looks at Batman in shock "You need the file that badly" Batman nods "It could help save lives" Gordon relents and gives him the usb drive which he takes and leaves for the Batcave.

Batman puts the usb into the Bat computer and begins inspecting the file.
(The file, (this happened while he was on home leave from the military)
File Name: Miagani Island Auto crash.
Date: 24th of November.
Victims: Alan Rais (surivived) Lena Rais (dead)
Cause: A car driving at 70 mph down the freeway trying to evade police crashed into Alan's car, the impact left him with injuries that no normal person could survive but he did (due to his Regeneration), however his sister (16) the passenger did not and died at the scene of the crash, Alan (18) reportedly broke down following the news, blaming himself for her death, after that he began taking unhealthy amounts of Antidepressants and Painkillers.
Notes: Alan had suffered several broken bones and was heavily bleeding following the crash however his regeneration soon kicked in and he quickly recovered.
Lena, his sister suffered a broken neck, several broken bones internal bleeding and a shattered spine.

Batman then finds a previously deleted file, he manages to recover it and finds out why Alan broke down after his sisters death.

File name: Rais Family abuse allegations.
Date: 20th of October.
Accusers: Alan (18) and Lena Rais (16).
Defendants: Mark and Lisa Rais.
Background: According to Alan his parents had been abusing him and his sister for 2 years starting when he was 16 and his sister was 14, he claims that they would be especially hard on him because he always stood up for his sister, and believed they were trying to force her to do things that she didn't want like enforcing a strict career path for her, (they wanted her to be a Lawyer while Lena wanted to be an artist) prohibiting her from having a friend who was a boy and gave both of them a curfew of 7pm which was uncalled for as neither of them ever stayed out late before and lastly they apparently tried to stop her going to her dream school because of her tendency to stay late after school to study more which broke her curfew, Alan kicked off at his parents and eventually moved out with his sister joining him and the two ended up fighting for separation from their parents once Alan turned 18.
Outcome: Alan won the case due to the overwhelming evidence and the fact that he had pictures of the bruises and cuts that his parents had given him and his sister, however he was forced to let Lena stay with his parents when he inevitably had to return to the army.

File name: Murder Of Mark and Lisa Rais.
Victims: Mark Rais (33) and Lisa Rais (35)
Background: At around 9am on the 30th of September the bodies off Mark and Lisa Rais were found dead in there small home in Miagani Island, the killer was eventually found to be a random physco who had stumbled into the house and kicked off a fit before stabbing the pair nearly 34 times, police were called after a loud glass smashing sound was reported by the neighbours, after he was convicted he was let off on a insanity plea, a few days later he was found dead with a knife in his neck, the killer was never found but they left a symbol of an eye with two swords crossing it out.

Batman looks at the files in shock "So that's what drove him over the edge along with his abuse of pills, I see, so he's a damaged veteran with a history of instability due to family issues and losing his sister" Batman grimaces before he gets a report of BloodStain, Punchline and Joker attacking Ace Chemicals.
(Ace Chemicals)
Alan and Punchline share a moment together while Joker is busy messing with chemicals, he wonders "What should I do, do I accept these feelings or ignore them" Punchline sees his face slightly dip "What's wrong Blood" he stares at her "Nothing just thinking back on a few things" she nods before the window breaks and they rush up and see Batman fighting Joker, Alan stabs him and kicks him off Joker before Joker gets up and walks up to Batman and laughs "Sorry bats but I win" Punchline looks at Rais, he looks at her before she nods and Alan dashes forward and stabs the Joker, shocking Batman and Joker himself "Alan, Uh, what are you" he is cut off by Alan snapping his neck and ripping his head off before throwing his body into the vat of acid just inches below them. He then grabs his sword and impales Batman before pulling it out and kneeling next to him "Sorry, man but this is it for you" he goes to Batman's ear and whispers "Bruce" Batman looks at him in shock before Alan kicks him off the scaffolding and into the vat before he and Punchline share a kiss before leaving the building, however Batman managed to get hold of the lower parts and quickly runs out of the building to get medical attention at the Batcave.
(The Hideout)
Everyone looks in shock as Alan and Punchline walk in, Luther asks them "What happened to Joker" Rais looks at him solemnly "He's dead Luther" everyone gasps "Dead" Alan goes on "He was fighting the Bat when he shoot the cables holding the scaffolding up, we managed to get off and so did the Bat but Joker... well he wasn't so lucky and ended up falling into the vat" Luther nods "Damn" he then leaves the two alone while Alan heads to his room, with Punchline following closely behind (the two began feeling something together ever since he re-crippled Barbara Gordon, the two are cold professionals so don't show their love while on the job usually anyway).
(Alan's room)
Alan takes his mask off and puts his blades away while Punchline just removes her makeup, she then asks him about earlier "So what were you really thinking about, Alan" he sits on his bed and looks at her "I was reflecting on my life and how it came to this" Punchline senses the sorrow in his voice and sits beside him on the bed "What made you want to reflect" he smiles faintly "My sister, she was my world, the only person who could genuinely bring out the best in me, everyone else saw me as an unstable physco but she... she stood by me because she knew the truth".
