Heather looked at the men that had them surrounded, vicious well armed men. Meant to capture and kill. She then looked at Elizabet and her face had a look of terror, knowing full well that her sexual prowess would not work. Elizabet knew she didn't have the power to control them all, maybe a handful at most. Heather turned and stared at her night mare that followed her closely. She then turned her attention to the boy draped over her shadow creature.
Heather took one final look at the men surrounding them. She then leaned her head back and closed her eyes. She had to concentrate and desperately hoped it would work. If not...well, she didn't want to dwell too long thinking so negatively. A dark mist flowed from her body slowly creeping forward, when the militia men breathed in the black smoke, their guns fell to the floor and there bodies fell down soon after. Every. Single. One... of the men and women fell to the floor as the dark mist began to dissipate Heather too fell to the floor, collapsing where she stood. The moment Heather fell to the ground, the mare turned to dust and Matthew hit the ground with a loud thud.
Elizabet looked at the fallen soldiers and her fallen comrades. "Well shit." She threw her hands in the air. "Seriously Heather, you're just going to leave me hanging?" Her heart began to beat rapidly when she realized that the monster wouldn't be far away. Elizabet gulped. She had to act quickly, but there was no way she would be able to move both Heather and Matthew.
Flora was parked not too far away listening to music with the seat leaned back. She jolted up when she realized the break with Heather and Elizabet broke. She flipped the seat back up and turned the key in the ignition. The car roared to life and she hit the gas and headed towards the the compound.
The sight that lay before Flora as she pulled up was chaos. The only one still standing was Elizabet and she hovered over two bodies.
Elizabet stood straight and quickly turned around when she heard the car pull up. Her heart nearly jumped out of her chest with the horrible thought that it was the creature. However, lady luck was with her and it was Flora.
Elizabet waved the nymph over, "Come on, I need your help, NOW!"
"What happened?" Flora asked as she moved between the bodies that lay throughout the yard making her way to Elizabet.
Elizabet tilted her head and shook it, "Really is now the time to ask useless questions? Really?! Come on help me, you take Heather, I'll take Matthew."
Flora nodded glancing at Heather. Flora knelt down and grabbed the young woman hooking her own arms under Heather's arm pits and pulled her along being careful not to step on any of the guards. She didn't know if she would wake them or not.
Elizabet followed suit and about 10 minutes later they were standing outside the SUV. Elizabet and Flora worked together to put the two unconscious people into the vehicle. Elizabet and Flora got into the vehicle and zoomed off and back to the Octagon House.
"What the hell happened?!? Why were they all unconscious? Except you?"
"I barely know. Well, Matthew was unconscious when we found him in his cell. We thought we were going to make it out and then BAM, we're surrounded. Heather does some creepy ass shit that I have never seen before. She must of put them all to sleep, but then she passed out and her mare disappeared as well. It was CRAZY!"
Flora felt like she got a verbal whiplash as Elizabet spewed out what had happened. Looking into the rear view mirror she glanced at Heather. Maybe other than Hattie and possibly Dinah, nobody had knowledge of the true extent of Heather's power. They all knew that she dealt with nightmares, but what else could she do? Apparently make an army fall asleep?
The SUV pulled up to the Octagon House gates and with the help of Hattie, they entered their alternative reality. After pulling up the the house and parking.
Hattie opened the passenger door and was expecting to be greeted by Heather and Matthew instead they were both unconscious. "What?" She mumbled however, unfortunately she wasn't going to make a fuss out here. Hattie didn't want to notify Erin of their arrival; not when they put in the effort to keep her in the dark, which was just for the time being. Hattie glanced toward the house and then back at Matthew. "Take him to coven room. I will have to perform an assessment, this doesn't seem normal."
Flora nodded, "What about Heather?"
Hattie went over and touched her forehead, "She is fine. She used nearly all her power, take her upstairs to the bedroom, she just needs to rest and eat something when she awakes, she'll be good as new."
