He was standing outside, admiring the beautiful nature scenery surrounding the farmhouse. He heard the sounds of spedoz, knowing the fact that they may be tracking Marina. Worry morphed on his face, he tried walking in a faster pace towards the house to get Marina out of there.
The moment he saw the room was empty, he felt a sudden a sadness. He walked over to the bed and he laid on her side, he could still feel the warmth she left there lingering in the sheet as well as her scent.
He wanted to so badly see her again, but he laid there on the bed. Taking in the warmth, then all of a sudden he felt a tear fall down his face. The year cascading, followed by a stream.
He lifted his arm over his face and wiped the wetness of the tear away, he straightened up and leaned against the headboard. He gazed into the long mirror that was meant for going over the outfit you were wearing.
He watched himself cry, his expression motionless. Though, more tears fell and all of a sudden he felt a tightness to his chest. He could feel a very slow, steady, but loud thumping. Was his heart now beating? He doesn't know because of how low it was thumping, but he was sure that more than anything his heart was beating.
He could hear the spedoz outside, their snarling and growling as they track the scent and enter the house. He thought for a moment if his heart was slowly beating and he had tears streaming down his face.
They think he's human, so he had lay down flat on his back and shut his body down again. He heard the spedoz tearing the place apart. He hoped his dead rotted smell would cover up her scent and for sure it did because he didn't hear them enter the room he was laying down in as his body began to shut down.
His body was finally shut down and somehow he felt more alive, he was standing their. Drinking in the scenery of the wild, pines, and mountains. He suddenly heard a mans voice and he turned around to see who and it was the guy he killed back at the pharmacy.
"Hey, Jason. I suppose you remember, I mean after all you did take my life away." He chuckled and he smiled at Jason warmly. Jason was dumbfounded a d couldn't understand what was going on. "You see Jason. I came here because we all seen how human Marina makes you, and we think that may help our human race to thrive in harmony and peace like it did before all of this." He patted Jason's back and he infused all the life into Jason, granting him to feel things, to be able to speak fluently etc.
"Go on and try to speak, Jason." Jason's expression evident of surprise and thankfulness. He opened his mouth hesitantly as if he though no fluent words wouldn't come out.
"I want to see her again. I want her to stay with me happily." Jason expression was evident in surprise. Was that his voice? He never knew how low, deep, and soothing it sounded. He welcomed the life he granted Jason. "I thank you for this." Jason smiled at him, grabbing his hand and shaking it roughly just like how Marina shown him.
"If you want Marina that bad. You must find her immediately! She's headed North to the base camp and this time your humanized features will definitely grab her attention." Jason smiled at him for that, he nodded closing his eyes indicating a thankful smile over his lips.
He woken up with a start on the bed. He got up and walked to the mirror, he saw his body was different. He felt new, repaired, and warm. No longer feeling slow and cold, he could feel his heart beat and the warmth of his skin.
His features were strongly defined and his rotted flesh no longer dead, it looked alive and felt alive. His eyes not as dead blue, but his eyes were still icy blue with a tint of Dark blue shading them.
An exciting smile took over his face and he ran out of that house into the yard and headed North, letting his legs take him to her ever so fast. His heart felt so warm, it was overheating and he loved the feeling. He saw an allusion of Marina and his body overheated just by the sight of her.
He kept running and running, he didn't stop until he saw Marina at a vacant gas station.
He ran and he smiled at the real sight of her. "Marina!" He yelled her name, a smile forming over his lips. She turned back to see who yelled after her, it taken her a minute realize who it was.
A surprised expression evident on her face, she realized it was Jason. She drinked in his features as guilt over taken her. She had to know how he looked so human. "How do you look so human? No zom has ever ran that fast." She wanted to say more as she noticed all the ridiculously beautiful features he wore proudly.
