Chapter 1 - Three doors

No matter how hard she try's the pain in her chest won't fade. Finally she pushes her self up and walks to the kitchen. Tip toeing as to not wake her parents.

Grabbing a knife she creeps back to her room. Slipping into her bathroom she turns on the water. Watching it rises she keeps glancing at the knife sitting on top of the toilet.

Finally she turns it off and climbs in with her knife in hand. Cutting her wrist ones she can feel the peace it brings over her.

Again she slices her wrist again hoping it will wash away her sins. The water begins to turn a pinkish color. Yet again she slides the blade across her wrist pushing it deeper. As the blood seeped out her head began to feel light.

Slowly her vision blurred until she was plunged into darkness. When she opened her eyes she was sitting on a bench. The area around her glowed.

Confused she looked around. Standing up she finds a path. Beneath each foot glows. As she walks a tall man with black hair and bone white skin walks beside her.

"Who are you?" She asks the man.

"I am a reaper. I am merely walking you to your death. I have no intentions to hurt you," As they walk another woman joins them.

She has long white hair and skin dark as the night sky. Turning to her the dead girl watches her.

"Who are you," She asks. The reaper looks over at her.

"I have no name I am merely here to decide where you will end up. Or help you decided," The dead girl continues to walk. As they walk she ponders there words.

There footsteps beside her on the glowing path. Once they get to the end there is room. Inside the room is three doors.

The first door has a flower engraved on it. The second door is a simple wooden door with no markings. The last door has a red tinge around the edges and a flower she had never seen before.

It had sharp petals and looked like it came from a fairy tale. The Reaper reached into his pocket and produced a key. The nameless woman pulled out a golden flower.

Both of them placed a book upon her head. Looking at the flower she saw it matched the one on the door. It was beautiful.

"You may pick one depending on your choice will determine which door you may go through," They both watch her. "It you do not decide soon you will be trapped here," She looks around and can see transparent people crying and looking panicked.

She has no idea what book is on her head. The flower is beautiful. But the key is the simplest. She can already see it will allow her into the middle room.

Handing the flower back to nameless woman. She looks at it with longing. Its beauty still entrancing her.

"I chose the key," The reaper nods and removes the book from her head. The nameless woman carefully places the flower back into her pocket.

Walking foward she puts the key into the key hole on the middle door. Only blackness lays on the other side. Closing her eyes refusing to be sacred she plunges into the darkness.

She begins to fall. Opening her eyes she can see a bright light at the bottom. The air grows hotter. The light getting bigger and brighter. The air gets sticky.

Trying not to be scared she imagines herself back at home. Her little sister playing with her wooden blocks. Her father watching her play happily. Her mother smiling while cooking.

That vision fades instead she sees her sister crying in the corner. Her father gone all together. There mother kissing another man while ignoring her children.

The house is falling apart. The whole place reeks of mold and cigarette smoke. No toys can be seen. Standing up she walks into her sisters room. Finding it blank.

Walking into the kitchen she sees a pile of disgusting dishes. Covered with slime... and blood? The fish tank is green. Two fish float decaying inside the tank.

Next she enters her room. The empty room. Broken peices of wood cover the floor. Blood stains the bed and carpet. Walking into the bathroom she finds her body.

Its decaying in the water. The smell of death assaults her. The knife lays at the bottom of the tub. Two blank eyes stare at the ceiling. Chunks of flesh float in the tub.

Tears stream done her face. Fear consuming her eating her from the inside out. The room begins to collapse. Plunging her back into the darkness. The light is even closer than before.

Finally touching the light she blinks her eyes. The bed beneath her isn't lumpy or uncomfortable. Instead it's the softest thing she has ever felt. Looking around she can see shelves with books on them.

And a window letting light flood into the room. Yet again confusion fills her. Looking down at her hands she nearly screams.

Her entire body has changed. Shaking she can feel the horror crawling up her throat. A long cat like tail sits under her. The end of it flicking.

Licking her teeth her tongue catches on a sharp tooth. There is a second one on the other side in the same spot. Fangs. All of her teeth are much sharper.

Reaching her hand up she can feel two furry cat like ears. But just under them are a set of horns. The curl on the sides of her head like a goats would. Grabbing her tail to look at is closer.

At the end is a sharp point. Touching it gentle she cuts her skin on it. Behind the barb is what looks like a cats tail. Only its covered in scales instead of fur.

Suddenly a cute little girl with a tail and ears walks up the stairs. Only her ears and tail are like rabbits. Her nose twitches like a rabbits would.

"Your awake!" Reaching into her pocket she pulls out a small mirror. Handing it to her she looks at herself in aw. Two wings stick out of her back as well.

"I'm Bean! What's your name?" The bouncy girl hops from foot to foot.

"Oh I'm Agana," The name flows off her tongue. She didn't remember that being her name. Either way it sounded like it was her name now.

The bunny girl nods happily. So this is the after world she thinks to herself. Everything around her seemed other worldly. Part of her wondered what was behind the other two doors.

Shaking her head she focused on figuring out what she was supposed to do.

"Were are we?" Bean smiles.

"Your in the after world. And before you ask you can do whatever you like here. It's kinda like a video game only its real life," Bean smiles before waving Agana to follow her.

Making there way outside Agana couldn't help but be fascinated with the world around them. Just standing outside of where ever bean lived there were other strange creatures.

Several other bunny's some dogs cats and all sorts of other animals but not a single one like her. If this was like a video game maybe she could go out and find others like her.

Again bean pulled out a bag from what seemed like no were. Putting the bag in Aganas arms.

"There now go find some place of your own to live at have fun," Watching Bean walk inside she suddenly feels lost.

Holding the bag she begins to walk around. Everyone stares at her. Some people whisper to the nearest person other just point.

Quickly she headed out of the village. This felt weird to her. Looking at the bag she wondered were Bean had been holding it.

Suddenly she tried stuffing it into her pocket and it worked. The bag dissapeared. Smiling to herself this really was like a video game.

Happily smiling and deciding to go with the flow she walks down a wide dirt road. Maybe in this world she can have a happy life. Maybe she will even be able to start her own family.
