PASCHAL was a busy man of 26.
He went out everyday. Either for a music concert as an artist or for consultations and emergencies as a doctor.
He never had enough time for Rachel. She didn't mind though. They understood that fact and lived with it, making good use of the little time they spent together.
Rachel knew Paschal was an angel on Earth. He made her forget all her problems and she so loved him. He knew how to make her happy and there was no dull moment with him.
During this summer holiday,they decided to use the best of it. It was a Friday and Rachel decided to pay him back for being a sweetheart.
Paschal was busy in the parlour watching his program when Rachel walked in. "Okay,the pizza is here!"she said bringing out the microwaved pizza she ordered. Dropping it down,she kissed him on his cheek.
"Hmmmmmm..." Paschal moaned. "You're silly" she laughed, sitting down beside him.
If there's one thing Paschal loved most about Rachel,it was her laugh. "So what are we watching today?"she asked grabbing a bite. "The cavalry's... You know I love this show... It reminds me of love" he replied and Rachel raised a brow. "What?" Paschal shrugged. "Nothing" she said and they sat closely watching the show.
"Won't you like the idea of us getting married, having children?". Now she was sure the show was getting into his head. "I'd love it" she really would. "I think our parents will also like it so much" he said excitedly. "So... Tell me about your family?" He pushed on.
Rachel hesitated,oh well; "I... I have a lovely sister and brother, Max and Chloe. And a servant boy that's also family, Wilson "she smiled reminiscing.
"And you're parents?"
"-"
"you know Rachel,I'd really love to meet with them" he said.
She knew he really wanted to see her family but then... "And I promise you'll see them very soon" she said kissing him to end the topic.
Paschal was getting too worried that Rachel kept much to herself and needed to marry her as soon as possible. But anytime,he brought the marriage topic,it always ended with kisses.
Rachel always had a way of changing the topic with her ways.
