Tokyo, Red Light District
"RUN!" Suzuki shouted at his comrades as gunshot rang off the walls of the buildings making up the narrow alley they ran through. The asphalt road was wet with puddles of visicious liquid and piss which stank of stale beer and puke. They ran down the alley and made the turn off as their pursuit turned the corner spotting them.
"They're here! Get them!" The head of their pursuit shouted letting off some shots in their direction.
"AH!" Hinata, Suzukis childhood friend and right hand fell in pain letting out a yelp and grabbing her thigh "I've been hit!"
Suzuki, profusely sweating, stopped in his tracks and turned back to her quickly scooping her up in his arms as he ran.
"Gabe!" He looked at the foreigner next to him. Gabriel, dubbed Gabe, was his best friend and a white English man with a tall lanky build and short curly hair with a small stubble. "Take her!" He passed Hinata to Gabe and swiveled on his heal pulling out a pistol and taking a stance.
Gabe slowed and turned to him reaching for his gun
"We aren't leaving you..."
Hinata struggled in Gabriel's grip but he held her fast as Suzuki turned back to them grinning as he stood tall his blue eyes penetrating Gabriel's own.
"This is not a request Gabe, its an order... go" he turned his face away from them preparing to face the oncoming yakuza. Gabe clenched his fist but held on to Hinata in a vice as she struggled and screamed.
"Suzuki! NOOO!" Hinata shouted and reached for him as Gabriel carried her in a sprint away from the alley.
Suzuki steadied himself as he took aim at the entrance of the alley. As Hinatas voice faded he heard the thud of footsteps and the eerie shadows thrown by the orange street lamps grew wild as the yakuza clocked in on his position. He grunted sweat rolling down his furrowed brow.
"One..."
He saw the shadows grow larger and ominous.
"Two..."
A bead of sweat rolled down to his chin and dropped off splattering into the excrement riddled floor as he took shorter more shallow breaths his blood racing in anticipation.
"Three!"
He released fire as soon as the first yakuza turned the corner taking his life much as a child blows out a candle or a knife cuts butter. He followed up dropping two more before his shots were reciprocated. He felt the pounding of his blood and heard the adrenaline rush to his head beating in his eardrums.
"Hes here! Back up!" They started to get into position trying to gain an advantage on him but he wasn't going to have it. He climbed a fire escape ladder on the side of a unit complex bordering the alley and began shooting down at them narrowly avoiding their fire. He absorbed everything around him analyzing what could play to his advantage as well as any route he could escape by.
As he found a route along the alley he shot at them covering his escape and forcing them to stay grounded unable to fire back. But his hope was cut as more men filtered into the alley from the other side cutting off his escape and trapping him. And then the onslaught began. Much like a hammer hits the iron on an anvil he was stuck between them. He grunted as he fired taking his pursuers out one at a time. Then it hit him. A pain like no other hit him searing through his hip as he felt a warm wash of blood flow out of him soaking his clothes. Then another, and another each taking him in different places. He kept firing feeling his head roar and blood fill his mouth dribbling down his lips.
Then silence.
The shots had ceased. Near to twenty seven bodies lay still in growing puddles of blood a vicious red in the orange glow of the alley lamp flickering on and off. Suzuki then collapsed gasping as all the pain hit him like a wall washing over him. He crawled toward a wall leaning back against it gasping and wheezing as blood flowed out of him, his body like a bag full of holes.
He looked up at the sky releasing the gun still locked in his grip. As it fell he felt the world around him slowly fade he thought on his sister, his only family who would now be alone. He thought on Hinata who would have to take the mantle of the gang after him and Gabe. He grinned at the grey clouds above him coughing as blood spurt out of his month. It was worth it to keep them safe. But he couldn't help feel a small amount of grief as he slowly shut his eyes sinking and fading slowly into a warm embrace of a white light and the sound of a running river accompanied by the hum of birds.

He felt a cold wet droplet splatter onto his face as he squinted lying on his back facing what should be the sky but instead was a canopy of leaves. As he squinted upward at the leaves the rain began to pick up forming from a few droplets to a slight drizzle to a outright downpour. Leaving Suzuki no time to think he quickly got up and scrambled i a search for shelter. As he ran he noticed a change in his voice and a shift in weight on his chest. He panted in quite a soft musical way even... feminine? As he searched for shelter he felt a tingling sensation along the small of his back and shrieked turning around searching for the cause. Suzuki being the young leader of a yakuza gang was not generally afraid but now he was.
He found shelter in the hollow of a tree and sat down wet and naked beneath it wheezing for air in the strangest of voices. As he calmed down he slowly looked down and noticed that his chest was not the as it should be. In its place to large lumps lay rising and falling with his every breath. Panic ensued. He slowly checked his body. He blushed deeply as he first noticed the lack of his member then felt a slit between his legs.
"How could this..." he trailed off watching droplets roll down his pale peach skin blushed pink from the cold. He felt goosebumps on his rump and then felt at his hair which rolled down his back in shining wet golden locks. He sighed in a voice alien to him... or was he now a girl? So her? He sat confused trying to regulate himself to his new situation getting used to his, damn! Her new body. As she slowly dried herself off with nearby leaves she formed a plan. She would need to find a source of water as well as nutrition. Even a female body needed to be fed. And perhaps even more so. As she got up and rubbed of the soil she heard a growl and turned to the entrance.
She slowly knelt down trying to hide behind a large root which protruded from the earth in the hovel and peeked out through the entrance. What she saw shocked her beyond words. A being two times the size of a strong human man stood holding a club with pale skin and red hair a pair of red horns protruding from its forehead. In its hand it held a wolf which whined and whelped in what seemed to be fear. As fear gripped Suzukis heart he saw the creature grip the wolfs jaw and as it whines grew in fear and desperation the creature snapped its jaw. The wolf fell limp and struggled no more. The creature, covered only about the waist by what looked to be pelts of various wild animals, proceeded to tear at the wolfs body using its nails to separate its pelt and meat. Suzuki tried backing deeper into the hovel taking care not to make noise but against her luck she stepped on a small twig letting out a small snap. She winced looking in panic back at the entrance and crouching low.
There was silence. The beast had heard the sound. She sweat as she saw the creature look toward the hovel seeking the cause of the noise. It slowly lost interest and as Suzuki breathed in relief the patter of rain soon returned to her conscience. She breathed in deeply and slowly trying to calm herself as she looked back toward the entrance. It was gone.
Her heart race accelerated and her stomach leaped to her throat in pure instinctual fear. Where was it? Where?!
A hand held her shoulder squeezing it "And who might you be..." a wolfs head fell in front of her rolling to her feet as urine ran down her feet as her head reeled and the world went black.
