In a dark corner of some unknown castle in one of kingdoms of the Tarian empire, a man could be seen walking down a corridor. He stopped before a giant and magnificent door, took a deep breath before he pushed it open.
"Good evening magister, I arrived as soon as I received the call, but is there a reason we couldn't have continued our discussion via the channel?"
He really hated having to face the magister in person. They were both people of power and were privy to the inner workings of the empire, but the magister was just something else
'I wonder what he's gonna do this time'
The magister could read the thoughts of his guest on his face, but he didn't mind it. If even his allies thought of him like this, then imagine how the enemies must be trembling at the mere thought of him.
It was his duty to serve the empire and raise the flag for their cause, and nothing would stop him, not even death.
"You know why we cannot use the channels. Private or not, the matters we discuss cannot be allowed to leak to the outside world, and no trace of it must exist. The dwarves may guarantee it's security but I do not trust anything that isn't made by human hands"
"As for why you have been summoned, Twenty years have passed and the ruin we halted all actions on has faded from the world's eye."
"The department of sorcery and ancient relics have succeeded in deciphering the contents and purpose of the ruin and I must say it is great news for our cause"
"But for this same of this reason news of the discovery cannot be allowed outside hence the secrecy"
The guest trembled with joy as heard the magister's words.
"If that is true then we should preparing immediately and go back to that place"
"Know your place"
The magister thundered
"Don not because of your foolishness ruin the plan I have laboured for. Do you for one think that anything your measly brain could come up with, I haven't thought about it and how you could mess it all up?"
Ahhhh, it had happened again, one of the reasons the guest hated seeing this madman in person. But even though he was powerful enough to destroy a nation and his words had enough weight to move millions, he couldn't even offer a single rebuttal to the magister
"Now listen here, this is what you would do."
"Contact one, no as many of those ridiculous groups and incite them to cause chaos in the various kingdoms under the empire, use any method to get them to act, kill of some of the dead weight nobles if you have to I don't care"
"When that is happening, take control of the underworld forces, you don't need to take everything over, just enough to pull up a grand abduction all-over the empire"
"Target those that would not be missed, stragglers, illegal immigrants, slaves and gosh, I don't have to tell you everything do I? Just keep it on a low and do not let anyone get a clue of it"
"Is task force X active"
"Yes" The minister replied.
Task Force X was a secret service trained personally by the guest to handle the works they didn't want the world to know about
"Good, send them covertly to stealth base 123, there they would receive and hold the the abducted stocks, it doesn't matter if the ones abducted live or die, just keep them in good condition with their body and blood usable"
"The time limit is 3 years as that is when the ceremony shall take place at the ruin"
The guest allowed to magister to finish his explanation before he asked
"What about the village near the ruin"
Without even thinking about it the magister replied
"Let them live for now, but inform the one sent to keep an eye on things that at the end of 3 year time period, just before the ceremony, he is to execute every living soul, send him a few members of Task Force X to aid him in his efforts"
"And do tell my rebellious son to come home when he is done with his mission, his father hasn't seen him since he went chasing after that fallen Princess, I allowed him do as he wished because it allowed me to stay in control of the village but it was time he came home"
"As you command, Magister"
The guest replied before he returned the same way he came, leaving only the magister in the room.
"Ahhhh, Gamora, I wonder what secrets you would show me"
He laughed maniacally
"Soon my lord, soon the world shall lie at your feet"

In various parts of Tarian empire, uprisings started, revolutionists requesting for a change in governing and power system rose from all angles.
And terrorism under the guise of a free world movement was rampart.
Because of the actions of a few people at the top, the lives of billions where turned upside down.
Some lost their jobs, other died, a lot had to move out of the kingdoms to the outlands or a new continent, and some sold themselves into slavery just to survive.
The underworld was booming once more with seals happening everywhere, from whoring to slaving, debt recovery and thuggery.
For a price anything could be acquired, even the lives of the so called noble ones.
It was a dark era for that Tarian empire, but for the ones at the helm of the plan, it was a sacrifice worth taking.
Gamora lied faraway at the very edge of this world isolated and safe from all the trouble, the occupants living the rustic and carefree life, not knowing that timer had been placed on their existence.

At a certain temple in a certain town, a young man at the dead of night walked into the room of a certain woman.
She lied on her bed, not surprised at all by the appearance of her guest.
"The time I feared has finally arrived, won't you reconsider and leave all this behind and follow me please, I fear for what I might have to do to you if you remain stubborn, and I loathe what I have become"
The woman stood up from her position on the bed and walked towards the closed window before stopping at an arm's length away from the guest.
The room was dark without a speck of light, but it didn't stop them from seeing each other
The woman saw the helplessness and self hate in the depths of the man's eyes, but knew there was nothing she could do to help him.
She had made her decision many years ago and she would stick by it.
"You know I can't help it, as much as I would love to leave everything behind and follow you, I am bound by a lot of constraints, many of them placed on me unwillingly"
"I have accepted my fate and have come to terms with it, you do what you must, and even if you hate what you have become, I would do everything in my lower to stop you from making the wrong decision when it matter"
As the woman said those words, she reached to the man, trying to hug him but a sound came from behind forcing her to turn to check it out.
Nothing was there but by the time she turned around to face the guest, she was the only one left in the room.
A tear dropped from her eye as she made her way back to her bed to get some rest.
Fate had been really cruel to them both, their love never had a chance to blossom
