"I came a little late, but I am not leaving, no matter what."
Amara was once again rendered speechless and dumbfounded by his words, feeling a strange warmth from the assurance that she felt in them. She was not sure what to make of such a sensation, yet it seemed to radiate through her and leave her with an uneasy feeling.
"There is no going back if you come with me," she warned. "You don't know what I am going to do."
"You trust me with your past; I will trust you with my future."
"You are mad," Amara said. She can't explain the rush of emotions overwhelming her, and she cannot help any of it.
