Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 : It was a Joke....

She laughed at his face, looking at his face, his eyes were wide with concern and if Amara is not wrong a little bit remorse but that makes no sense...? Why he would have that expression on his face. Seeing her throwing her back and laugh! Satya tightens his jaw annoyed.

"You were Joking, " He looks at her. He feels betrayed. He never thought she would turn out to be like this. This girl in front of him was an enigma. Her secretive smile and that thrill mad look in her eyes were unnerving to him, there has to be something left of the girl he uses to know...but he found none and his every attempt to get a confession out of her was failed. It's like she knows what he is thinking. He hadn't got a call from his partner either.

Amara sigh in contentment as look out of the window of the cafe and close her eyes like she was in heaven. She very well knew he was wearing a wire and trying to make her confess.

"Trust me, Satya whatever is that you think I did. I might have done it or not, it's irrelevant even if I did it which I have not. I did it for a one...." She opens her eyes and looks back at him, leaning into his ears and she whispers in a low seductive voice.

"...single simple reason and that is....because I... can," She lean away with a same enigmatic smile pulled on her dark pink lips and she bit on her lower lip, looking innocent but her light brown eyes were lit with mischief.

He gave her no reaction. She is not the little innocent girl he used to know therefore no longer of the consequence for him. Last time he checked she was fine and alright, what happened? That question was burning in his mind.

"Now if you are done with trying to trick a confession out of me or your friends kept hitting by an epic failure after searching my hotel room, I will take my leave, " She had freed herself from the cuffs and get up from her seat. The cuff falls and hits the steel leg of the table. Satya reached for his gun but she touches his wrist her black painted manicured nails on display.

"This is a crowded cafe and there are kids here," she said in mocking outraged tone.

"And you, my friend have no evidence, " She said and lean away from him, climbing over his lap she pulls the hood of her denim jacket and walked away.

She pulled out an orange flavour lollypop put it on her mouth and winked at him from outside through the window she was looking out from just a few minutes ago.

Satya took his phone and dial a number.

"She slipped away she knew we don't have any proof did you find something," He told his partner.

"No man! this place is fucking clean!" the voice on the other side said.

"Are you sure?"

"Are you sure? She is the one we were looking for, everything look like any normal would have there is nothing here that suggests otherwise, "

"Yes, it's her I know her," Satya said.

"Do you?" the voice asked on the other side.

Satya sigh as her face winking at him come the for the front of his mind.

Amara was walk on the sidewalk with a half-smile pulled on her lips arrogantly. Her right angle nose in the air with her square jaw chin and lollipop in her mouth. She stopped at a vendor on the roadside that was selling shirts, jacket and hats. She slipped out of her denim jacket and put on a white lined shirt over her crop top and put on a cream colour hat. Paid for it and kept walking leaving her jacket on the vendor's shop. She throws the lollipop stick away.

"You use to know me Satya. Now, I am uncatchable, "
