"What happened Babygirl? Why aren't you saying anything? Speak something I have been missing your voice all these years," he said tracing his finger on her shoulder
She is not in a state to respond to anything, she was shocked to the core listening to his voice and her body is feeling alive after all these years just by a mere touch. Her eyes started tearing she tried to spoke but she found her voice missing.
"Speak up Baby girl, are you enjoying all the attention of these billionaires you Mother always wanted for you?" he hissed near her ear, his voice made her flinch
His words pierced her heart and caused her unbearable pain and her mind stopped functioning listening to his accusations
She tried replying him but he pulled her body closer to him and now she felt his hot breath on her lips, she can't stop herself from reminiscing the beautiful past
"You were enjoying your life in an illusion that you have eliminated me from your life and this world but trust me Babygirl my eyes were always on you," he roared on her face
"I am waiting for answers Babygirl speak up, why are you silent now? I am alien to your silence, I only knew a chirpy and bubbly Louisa. What is your reality? Were you acting in the past or present? Or do you keep acting always?" he yelled but his voice turned shaky
"Am I hallucinating again?" Louisa wondered
"You may act like this headstrong person who is unbreakable, but I know that nothing is changed within you. You are the same even after all these years. I still wonder how you acted so well. Were you trained under someone or were you born with the talent?"
Every word he said went straight into Louisa's heart and she was hurt beyond words. She is still not sure whether he is for real or is she just hallucinating his presence?
"I thought that I have become immune to pain but your words proved otherwise. You are accusing me of acting strong? Do you have any idea what I am going through? Do you know what will these vile creatures do to me if I would have been the same girl from the past? You have no idea about anything so stop with these accusations," she yelled back holding back her tears
"I know everything Babygirl, my eyes never left you, I have been following your every step and I saw the way you have evolved from the sweet little lovely girl to this manipulative brutal woman," he said leaning his face near her ear and she shuddered
"You are the only person I always felt safe with but now you are making me shiver and you are shattering my heart with all the allegations, listen to me I am not weak anymore and I am not going to hear one more word against me," she said pushing him away from her but he didn't even move an inch
"Move away from me, I have been trained in the mix martial arts for the past 4 years, if you won't back off I would use my hands to answer you," she warned him even though she doesn't want to do that
"Tremendous transformation Babygirl, you are warning the person you loved the most, oops my mistake you never loved me you just acted like you were head over heels for me just to destroy me," he raged in anger
"Listen to me carefully; my eyes never left you and they will follow you everywhere, you have acted so well and made my life hell and I will make sure that you will pay for the pain you have caused me. I am a man of my words and you knew that well so get ready for the hell" he whisper yelled near her ears
He trailed his hands down her neck and opened the zip of her hoodie until her breasts; she stood frozen at her place and he trailed his fingers to the left side of her body and traced the red-colored, walnut-shaped birthmark above her left breast
His eyes turned red and he left a heavy breath smirking, she just felt the breath near her breast but she can't see anything due to the darkness
"You are meant to be mine Babygirl and I will get you at any cost, I am just waiting for the opportunity once I get that you will be with me unraveling the truth, remember that I am always following your every move and you can never escape from my invisible cage," saying that he placed his lips on her birthmark.
Her body responded to his touch in the same way it used to respond in the past. "Nothing has changed and nothing will be changed. You may have no idea but our destinies were trapped together and you have no way to escape from this other than accepting it," he said kissing the birthmark
Her mind did not register anything her ears heard due to the pleasure her body was experiencing, he gave a quick bite near the birthmark and pushed her on the floor
She inhaled and exhaled heavily for quite some time and opened her eyes but she felt alone, she stood up zipped her hoodie, and looked around. She got hit by the side table and fell flat on the floor and wined in pain.
She looked around but found nothing but darkness and all of a sudden, she started panicking and went out of breath she cried out for help but her voice betrayed her. She lost her consciousness trying to catch her breath
"Lou, open your eyes. Open your eyes girl," she heard someone yelling
She felt wetness on her eyes and someone tapped on her cheeks, she slowly opened her eyes after gaining her senses only to be greeted by a heavenly handsome person
Her eyes looked deep into his eyes and her mind tried reminiscing something, which was abruptly stopped by the panic calls from Rudy
"Lou, are you okay? What had happened? Why were you lying unconscious on the floor?" Rudy asked wiping the sweat on Louisa's face
She opened her mouth to answer him but she found difficulty in speaking. "Bring her some water," she heard the handsome man ordering.
Rudy made her drink water while the handsome man kept rubbing her back; she felt known warmth in his touch and looked at him all confused
Both the men helped her stand on feet and he didn't leave her hand even after she said that she is okay
"Lou, tell me what had happened, did someone attack you? Have someone drugged you?" Rudy went on asking
"Raid the bar area and check whether the drinks were served with the drugs, I want to know the culprits behind this," Louisa heard her friend yelling in anger at the Guards
"Ruds, I am okay. I felt nauseous as I drank wine on the empty stomach; I entered the room to use the loo and I felt my head spinning, that's it. Don't make a fuss out of it," Louisa said trying to sound normal to avoid the unnecessary gossips about this
"Stop the guards Ruds, I am fine now, the place is secured do you think that drugs will enter the heavily secured place?" she asked with a small smile trying to ease the situation
Rudy followed her orders. "How did you find me here Ruds?" she asked her doubt.
"While looking for Elena I checked every room, I made some calls to you which went unanswered so I searched for you but found you nowhere. I assigned guards but none succeeded while running here and there I stumbled with Mr. Asher Carter, who offered me help looking at my situation. We saw you entering the room in the security cameras and came here only to be greeted by a room locked by a high security password. Luckily, Mr. Carter ran some programs and cracked the password and we found you unconscious on the floor. Your blood pressure went down and you stopped responding, he had run the basic CPR and made you drink something which brought you back to the senses," Rudy explained what had happened to her
"Thank you, Mr. Carter, I can't imagine what would have happened to her if you had not helped us on time. We are so indebted to you," Rudy thanked him
"No need to thank me, Mr. Lopez, it's our duty to help others who are in need. Make her eat something which contains little amount of citrus and don't worry she will be great," he said giving a small mile.
"For sure Mr. Carter, thank you once again," Rudy said and Asher just nodded in response and started walking away
"If not for him, we would have never found you," Rudy said rubbing her shoulder
"Mr. Carter," Louisa shouted and he stopped on his tracks and turned around with a sweet smile
"Louisa Miller," she forwarded her hand and he shook it with a smile introducing himself as "Asher Carter"
