Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Pop the Tires

I'm sitting in the principals office right now, feeling sorry for my bun buns. I have no idea how I got in here. No wait- now I remember. I did my little stunt and my principal caught me, dragging me to his office in anger. I really don't now whether to call this assault, since he dragged me by my ear. The again, he is my uncle. I had sinned against my uncle. It wasn't my fault though. I wouldn't even call it sinning. More like a friendly family prank. For taking the last piece of chicken on Thanksgiving.

'It's all for Anna , just remember that.', I voiced out in my head. I actually have no idea why I even think anymore. Whether the other voice in my head tells me something is a bad idea, I refuse to listen and do so anyway. I put my right side of my short hair behind my ear as I waited for the lecture to start. I looked down to my nails. Damn, I really need to get those fixed.

The principal was pacing back and forth around the room, making me feel a little sick. The room wasn't that bad, it was a nice maroon and white color, stripes and all, with a table in the middle and bookshelves behind as the background. The interior designer did a really good job here. I'm impressed. The windows were on the side of the room, which were pretty large, if someone was really broke and desperate enough, they could steal something from here. With the windows showing the front of the school, they were slightly opened with the curtains pulled up, giving a lot of light into the room. So much light that you can see everything clearly. His face was red with both anger and sadness, and I just sat there biting my lip awkwardly. This is kinda uncomfortable.

Each of the principal's steps are faster than the other making me feel more dizzy. He was wearing his usual grey suits. with a white dress shirt underneath and a red tie. He needs a make over,I mean, even if this guy is 40 something, I'm sure there are dating sites for oldies like him. Now I'm thinking about it.

I look down and cringe, what was I thinking?

"Sky, it would be really smart to try and go ahead and pop the principal's car tires so that you can get to your best friend's far away boarding school! Let's do that! It isn't stupid at all! Nope, not stupid!" , I recall in my mind. I actually wonder why I listen to my stupid brain anyway. For some reason, I really can't tell the difference between one of my stupid ideas and what I should do in a situation I can't control.

To my defense, I took a huge glass of milk, so I wasn't thinking straight. Just so you know, milk makes me crazy, I have no idea how or why but considering that my family doctor said I should try to drink milk when there are no dangerous objects nearby, and we all know that it all turns out bad when I drink it. When I tell you, a huge glass of milk, I mean huge, big, large, gigantic!

"What did I ever do to you?", my principal asked with both his hands on the table. "I've been a great principal to you students! I even let you be on your phones in class!"

Truth is, he never did anything! I just missed my best friend a lot so I thought this crazy plan might work. He put his head in his hands, burying it and making his face not visible as he sat down . I think he started crying. His body shakes and I hear muffled sobs from him.

"Don't worry, if she really loves you she'll let them fix her.", I say leaning forward and patting his shoulder. I was referring to the car. I actually liked the fact that objects were considered female. guys always take everything for no reason. Stupid stupid male species. He looked up at me, giving me a look of disbelief then went back to his sobbing. Man up dude, cars can't die! Well, at least I think they don't?

Nope, they can't.

Out of nowhere, I heard footsteps coming from outside the office door. In another second, my mom bashes the door open with her left hand and you could see the other hand shaking, indicating that she was ready to smack someone.

"You are in so much trouble, young lady!" she yelled. "You are so finished, I thought I raised you to be a wonderful woman, a good future princess and you act like this?!"

I got chills on my spine and flinch when I heard her tone. Here I go, getting in trouble again. The cringe of this situation was way too much right now. When she noticed the principal crying, her face did something weird. Her facial expression changed from 'I'm going to boil you alive and kill you' to 'Do you need a tissue?'

I took this as my chance to convince her to the boarding school. "I guess I'll l have to go to boarding school, oh darn nabbits. Oh please don't send me to Fortvillage, that school will be too strict for me! I won't be able to rebel against their rules. ", I say to them, while giving her my best fake defeated looks and praying inside that she would send me there . It was the only reason I did anything. I popped my principal's tires just for me to go to that school. Well Anna, I'll be seeing you sooner than predicted! I should get paid for this. I don't know what this job would be called but hey, I'm making great progress on it.

What was I talking about again?

"Actually, Richwood seems like a more suitable school for you.", my ex principal suggested with a smirk and I shot him a glare at him a glare for him comment.

Oh chicken shnitzelz!
