Gillian glares at me, his arms crossed in frustration as he says, "What did you just say?"
I look at him with a grim expression, clenching my jaw as I reply, "You heard me, well enough."
Gillian's eyes widen with amusement as he chuckles quietly. "You're telling me, that you have an offer i can't refuse?"
I manage to smirk, my hands pressing down at the cot. "Yeah. But I'll only tell you that in one condition."
Gillian scoffs, stuffing his hands inside his jacket's pockets. "Let me guess, you want me to free you and your friends? Not going to happen, Miller."
I had expected him to say that. I'm not surprised he asked that with a decisive tone, pleased with himself that he managed to solve out my formidable plan. That he managed to figure me out and what's happening inside my mind.
But how can he figure me out when I can't really understand myself either?
I sigh, shaking my head. "No, I don't want that for me."
