Hagumi lay in bed thinking about the encounter he had with the mysterious girl earlier. Despite the blood seeping through his bandages on his bum, he ignored it simply to linger in bed more as he was lost in thought.
Her eyes were green, almost like a snake, Hagumi thought. He kept thinking about her appearance. Her tall figure with a masculine aura. Her long green hair that went past her back. And of course, he couldn't forget the green spark of lighting that enflamed her before she disappeared.
What was that? Hagumi thought. Everything was a lot to process, and he was wondering whether he was just hallucinating due to the trauma he had gone through earlier that day. It was now nighttime, and the blood has become more apparent, so Hagumi decided to finally get up. Getting out of the bed proved to be more of a challenge than he expected. With every movement a pulsing shock was sent throughout his body as if he were hitting a nerve in a sensitive area every single time.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Hagumi turned on his side figuring it would be a much easier way to get up. He pushed himself up with his palms and pushed all of his weight to sit on his right thigh so that no pressure came to his bum area. He could feel the blood start to run down his bottom and silently cursed himself. Another shiver went through him, and he felt sick remembering what Tatsuya had done. Once again, he felt extreme humiliation and ashamed. He quickly pushed the thought away and attempted to stand up.
Almost immediately, a shock went up his leg to his bum the moment he applied pressure to his feet. Hagumi fell to the ground unwillingly while placing his hand on his bum grimacing in pain. He cursed himself.
"Shit."
He took another deep breath before deciding to crawl the rest of the way to his bathroom. He propped himself against the rim of the tub with a pained expression. He removed the bandages that were seeped with blood throwing them into the trash. Grabbing some tissue, he began to slowly clean the area. It stinged every time his skin came into contact with the tissue, and he bit his lip to keep from crying out in pain. He thought about how he was going to make it at school tomorrow with the tremendous amount of pain he was in. Knowing what Tatsuya did, he should know his injuries would need more than a day to heal. Hagumi figured he'd need at least a week for his insides to recover. After cleaning himself up he went to grab for the bandages only to remember that the only bandages he had were the ones he had on that he had just thrown away. He huffed in frustration.
It was difficult and painful enough just to get to the bathroom to clean himself and now he's sitting on the floor, a race against time before his ass decides it wants to bleed again with any sudden movement and he doesn't have any bandages. He could barely walk, it's not as if he could go to the store and he definitely wasn't going to ask his parents especially his mother. She would ask too many questions. His only other option was his sister.
Thinking of this, he started to cry. Tears reluctantly fell down his face. It was so embarrassing and the fact he had no other person to ask since he had no friends or anyone to rely on was even more painful. Hagumi thought of her coming in and seeing him on the floor as pathetic the scene is. He could only cry more hitting his thigh in anger and shame. Just why did Tatsuya have to do that? He was always a menace but this time he went overboard. As if he was really trying to kill him. Hagumi couldn't make any sense of it. He just wanted Tatsuya to leave him alone. He continued to cry more while his bottom half was naked, and blood once again begun to seep out. He rested his head onto the hem of the tub and left both his hands resting on his stomach. He sat on the side of his hip so his bum would not touch the floor but face the wall.
"How pathetic you are right now," he heard a familiar voice say. It was none other than his sister Erika. Hagumi stopped crying frozen in place. He thought of what this scene might look like and wanted to die on the spot never to be resurrected or reincarnated. He hoped to never see her in the afterlife either. It was so embarrassing. How long has she been there? What is she thinking? Leave! These were all thoughts rushing through Hagumis head as he stayed still refusing to look up at her. At a time like this, he wished he had locks on the doors.
"It's amazing you didn't have any broken bones despite falling 20ft off a cliff. You only had a few bruises here and there yet from what I can see you have blood coming from your ass. Is this another injury we overlooked? Its internal bleeding. Did you actually fall off a cliff?" She asked. In fact, she asked the last question in a genuine manner. Earlier she did not believe it so but now after seeing such injury she doubted herself. Maybe he had fallen off a cliff. Thats plausible for an injury of his stature. Even if she was aware of the bullying done by Tatsuya, she herself didn't think he was capable of going that far.
Hagumi remained silent. The tears now blurred his vision as he tried holding them back. His hair covered most of his face casting a dark shadow. Even so Erika could see the tear run down his cheek. She seemed surprised.
"My sweet Gumi," she spoke softly. She walked into the bathroom kneeling down beside Hagumi. Small whimpers could be heard coming from his mouth. Erika brushed the hair from Hagumis face revealing his flushed and quivering expression. She stared for a moment taking it in. She caressed his face slowly. Hagumi slightly rejected her touch leaning away. She smiled.
"My Gumi. Why don't you ask me? Ask me to help you. Say: Erika, I've got a problem. Can you help me?" Erika said looking at Hagumi in the eye. There was something in her expression that seemed to taunt him, but he couldn't tell exactly what she was thinking. When it came to Erika, she was always difficult to figure out. She continued to look at him with her uncanny expression.
"Go on, Erika, help me please," she said again. Only this time she broke into a smile. It was the least bit comforting. And it just made Hagumi feel more ashamed. Now he could tell she was making fun of him. She was enjoying seeing him like this and wanted to embarrass him even more. Hagumi gripped his fists together. He didn't want to ask for her help but what other option did he have? The toilet paper surely wasn't going to hold up. He thought of the mysterious girl from earlier but quickly realized it was pointless since he knew nothing about her. He only remembered that she would be there when he woke up the next day like she said.
"If you don't mind.... could you help me?" Hagumi pushed out. He avoided her gaze looking to the floor. He was remined that he's naked and his penis was out in the open. He quickly covered himself pulling his shirt down and blocking with his hands. He blushed in awkwardness and embarrassment. Erika smiled.
"Gumi, you look so helpless like that. No use in hiding it from me when I've seen it since you were a baby. It's not much bigger than I thought," Erika said casually. Hagumi looked at her in shock. What is she saying?! He thought to himself. Erika occasionally said weird things like this and Hagumi always felt she was overstepping her boundary. She stood up promptly. Hagumi still looked to the floor.
"Bandages I assume. Otherwise, you wouldn't be sitting with your ass hanging out bleeding on the floor. I'll be quick my sweet Gumi. Try putting some tissue on it to soak up the blood."
With that she left. Hagumi cringed. Every word she said made him feel so demeaned. Like he was so pitiful. He hated that feeling. He hated it so much yet no matter how much he disliked it he knew it was the truth. That he was so pitiful and pathetic. He let the tears run freely deciding not to hold them back anymore. It seemed crying was the only thing to bring him comfort.
-
Hagumi woke up again now once again lying in his bed. He made a groan before turning on to his side and rubbing his bottom. When he turned to his side, he saw someone lying down beside him eyes locked onto him. He was still a bit hazy as he was in the process of waking up and couldn't decipher who it was. He made a random guess remembering something from earlier.
"Airi?" he said softly. There was a snort.
"Airi? Who the hell is Airi? Still stuck in your dream or something," Erika said with a distasteful tone. She didn't particularly like the mention of another girl's name while in his presence. This awoken Hagumi fully as he quickly sat up being surprised by the sound of Erika's voice. He quickly regretted it as a sharp pain traveled from his tailbone to his abdominal area. Hagumi winced in pain arching upwards to direct the pain away.
"What are you doing in my bed?!" Hagumi asked surprised. He remembered crying on the floor in the bathroom after asking Erika to get some more bandages. He now realized his bandages had been replaced. Although not as neatly as the mysterious girl before.
"I guess you cried yourself to sleep while I went to the store. I came back to you sitting in a pile of blood. It was the disgusting to say the least. Imagine if mother walked in and saw that. I fear she would not have lived another day," Erika said bluntly. She got out of the bed and stood up.
"I wrapped your bandages as nicely as i could. I'm no doctor or anything but I suggest you rest for a few more days. If you need something, Gumi why don't you ask me first?" she paused before speaking.
"I won't help you if you don't ask," she said. Hagumi couldn't tell but he figured there was some other meaning behind her words. She took her leave out of the room closing the door quietly behind her. Hagumi took a deep breath. She's right. I do need to rest, Hagumi thought to himself.
"I'm so exhausted," he said breathlessly. He laid back down on the bed adjusting himself so he would bring little friction between hi bum and the mattress. His body felt sore all over and every movement felt stiff and rigid. He groaned in pain. Grabbing his blanket, he covered his body and closed his eyes. I just want to rest, he thought. With that he fell into a deep sleep, one without any dreams.
-
The next morning ended up being cold as a cold front passed through the city. Shivering, Hagumi buried himself deeper into the blankets seeking as much warmth as possible. Although it only ended up being futile as the frigid air just seemed to breeze right through the sheets. He snuggled as close as he could trying to maintain any warmth there was.
Suddenly, a warm body embraced him. He was slow to react as he was pleasantly surprised by this newfound warmth as he moved closer to the source pushing his body against it.
"So warm," he whispered to himself. He was half asleep and didn't realize a newly added weight to the bed. A warm hand brushed through his hair while rubbing his back. He melted into the touch wanting more of the comforting feeling.
"Honeybee, you are just the cutest when you're asleep like this. I know it's cold but thankfully I'm here so you can sleep comfortably. Don't worry, I'll keep you warm," a soft voice spoke. It was comforting and pleasant. Hagumi fluttered his eyes open to the sound of the voice. He was met with with bountiful breasts smothering his face. It took a few moments to react before he pushed himself away quickly with a scream.
"Ah!"
He looked at the girl who lay on his bed with a smile on her face. From his observation she didn't seem to wear any clothes.
"Oi! Honeybee," she said cracking a smile. Just then the door to his room opened and his mother Harumi appeared. Hagumi panicked thinking she saw the strange girl in his bed only to see that she had disappeared.
"Hagumi darling, is everything okay?" Harumi rushed in sitting on the bed beside Hagumi. She put her hand to his head checking to see if he was sick.
"You're not feeling sick, are you?" She asked worriedly. Hagumi took a breath of relief. The strange girl had disappeared just in time. He didn't know how he would explain this to his mother.
"No, I'm okay. Just cold-
"Cold?! Just one moment and I'll go get another blan-
"Mom it's okay. Please can you go? Is there something you need? I'd really appreciate if you would knock first," Hagumi said. He played with the hem of his blanket making slight wincing expression.
"How are you feeling? Are your injuries, okay? Should I call the doctor?" Harumi asked. she was hesitant to touch her son's body in fear she would hurt him. Hagumi sighed. He had to remember she was his mother, and her reaction is totally normal but sometimes she's just too overbearing.
"No, mom. I'm okay, really. I'll be fine if I just take it easy so don't worry okay," Hagumi said. He leaned in a bit and gave her a hug. Harumi was stunned.
"H-Hagumi," she stuttered.
"I'm sorry for yelling at you yesterday. I didn't mean to worry you," Hagumi apologized. He was sorry for his outburst but not enough to want to hug her. He only did it so she would back off a little. If he gave her some reassurance, then she would leave him alone. Don't be mistaken, Hagumi was very much grateful to have a mother like Harumi who worried so much over him but as all teenagers do, he just needed some space.
Harumi was over the moon. Her depressed level from being a failure of a mother had decreased significantly while her scale for the world's best mother went over tenfold. She was gleaming with joy. Harumi was relieved to know her son was okay and that he wasn't upset with her. She kissed his forehead before standing up.
"Well then! I'll go make my wonderful son a fulfilling breakfast. That way you'll have energy to get you through the day. A mother's love is best shown through the food she makes!" Harumi said with determination. Hagumi gave her a nervous laugh. Her glowing aura left the room as she closed the door behind her leaving Hagumi to himself again.
He sighed in exhaustion. Suddenly he became alert remembering the girl in his bed. He looked around the room steadily. There was no sign of anyone or any movement. Hagumi sighed with relief. Guess it was just a figment of my imagination, he thought.
"Well, now it's time to get up- Ah!"
Just as he was about to move a hand from beneath his bed appeared gripping the sheets. Another hand came up and then half a head appeared showing off its beautiful green snake eyes.
"Honeybee, squeezing myself under there really hurt," she pouted. She then fully revealed herself in all her glorious beauty. She stood tall and frank and with a flare to her that exuded confidence.
"Honeybee, I'm back!"
Hagumi looked in bewilderment. So, it wasn't my imagination? There's really a girl here and- he paused his thinking. Not only was a strange beauty before him but she was completely naked!
Hagumi blushed turning red and looking away.
"Put some clothes on!" he scrambled out. His cheeks and ears becoming hot. She looked down and frowned.
"What's wrong? Honeybee doesn't like it. I thought if I was naked, we could have skin to skin contact that way you would feel warmer. I embody electric bolts, so I behaved like a heater for you," She explained. Hagumi looked confused. He couldn't concentrate thinking of her naked body. So perfect, plump and shaven. He shook his head to get his dirty thoughts out of his mind.
"Who- who even are you? What are you doing in my house? What do you want?" he asked nervously. She walked over to his dresser rummaging through his clothes.
"Honeybee, you need more variety. You have too much black in here. Maybe I'll take you shopping sometime," she said to Hagumi but more so herself.
"I told you earlier, my name is Airi Kyoto. I'm an electro mage from the Serpine clan. Ranked 3rd on the council. I'm here to protect you. You're my honeybee after all," she said. Airi grabbed a dark green shirt that seemed to be the only shirt that wasn't either black, grey or white. She put it on while also grabbing some boxers from the top dresser to go with it. After she was done dressing, she turned toward Hagumi.
"Well, how do I look!" she asked. Since Airi was tall, about 6ft the shirt fit her more like a crop top and the boxers were pretty tight fitted. Hagumi looked at the outfit oddly. It clearly didn't fit her.
"It's...It'll do. Now back to what you were saying earlier. It's not making any sense. You're an electro mage from some snake clan here to protect me? Protect me from what exactly? You sound like a sociopath," Hagumi asked. Everything was still a bit difficult to process. And he needed some time to adjust. But the words just weren't making sense. Airi sighed.
"You have a lot of questions and I'll answer them as promised. But let's get you dressed first. You have school today right. From now on, I'll be accompanying you. So just let me take care of you and we'll go slow, hm?" Airi said. She cupped his face looking at him with an endearing look. He blushed.
"O-okay," Hagumi stuttered. He still wasn't completely comfortable around her, but he since she hasn't killed him yet she might not have bad intentions at least for now.
"Now on to more important questions, how did you get that injury Honeybee?" Airi asked. She asked as if it didn't mean much to her. As if she was just making casual conversation. She walked over to Hagumis closet pulling out his school uniform. Hagumi watched her with curiosity.
"He goes to your school or something?" she asked nonchalantly. She walked back to the bed throwing his uniform. She then bent down to eye level with Hagumi and attempted to remove his shirt.
"Eh? What are you doing?!" Hagumi said panicked. He covered his chest with his hands looking away embarrassed. Airi smirked.
"Honeybee, there's no need to shy away from me. In the future we'll spend many countless nights together," she said. Hagumi paused. Many countless nights? He thought. Suddenly, it hit him. He blushed deeply.
"What-what are you saying. I don't even know you. Seems you are just a pervert," Hagumi said. He still covered his chest with his hands. Airi chuckled.
"Hm... only for you. Now move those hands out the way. I'm assisting you in changing your clothes unless you want to do it yourself. I can only imagine how sore your body must feel right now," Airi said with an impatient look. Hagumi hesitated a bit. He looked at her questioningly. She just showed up out of nowhere, calls him her honeybee to which he thinks sounds like some code name to traffic him and then tenderly tends to him as if it were her obligation. Everything was just too out of place. Too sudden and too weird. He moved his hands from his chest slowly. Airi smiled as she began to slowly and carefully removed Hagumis shirt.
Upon doing so revealed a horrible sight. Hagumis body was covered in bruises. Airi was surprised by the severity of it. Hagumi seeing her reaction, quickly grabbed his uniform button up and put it on. He once again had on a look of shame and embarrassment. Airi however seemed to grow increasingly angry.
"Who did that? How did you get those injuries? When I found you yesterday you were almost half-dead bleeding out on the ground. Just the sight of you, I thought you were gone. I was so angry with myself for not coming to you sooner. If I had known what you were going through, I would have never taken that long. I need to know who did this to you. I need to punish them. They need to know the consequences of messing with my beloved," Airi said with anger in her voice. She had a fierce expression making clear eye contact with Hagumi.
Hagumi felt a bit flustered as he felt compelled to tell her. "I... It's just... I did it to myself-
"Don't give me that bull shit. Why on earth would you stick a metal rod up your-
Seeing Hagumi's shameful and meek expression she stopped herself. Airi mentally slapped herself thinking of how painful the experience must've been and she brought it up when he most likely wants to forget about it. She took hold of Hagumi's hands.
"I'm sorry. I know it's difficult for you, but I want you to trust me. And if there's going to be trust between us you can't lie to me. Listen to me honeybee, I'm never going to blame you for anything and I'm never going to let anyone hurt you ever again. I've failed to in the past but this time I promise. I stake my life on it," She spoke softly. For some reason Hagumi felt security and protection in her presence. She had an overwhelming aura of confidence and dignity. Her words felt so endearing and sincere. Although Hagumi knew so little about her or her purpose something told him he could trust her. He nodded.
"It's just at school there's this boy, he's my childhood neighbor. We've always been compared in everything. It must've started when we were younger, but he started to dislike me and would taunt me all the time. For a while it was just verbal attacks and light teasing but as we got older, he started to get more violent, and it became physical. Since then, I've never been able to fight against him. He knows all my weaknesses and hits me where it hurts the most. I never understood his hatred for me but even so the bullying I've experienced from him is just too much. It affected my life and it's why I'm the way I am now, timid and isolated. I lost interest in all of my hobbies since he would just cause trouble for me all the time. Because I got so depressed, I stopped doing things with my family and pushed them away. My mother always had this perfect idea of me, and I felt like a major disappointment. I'm just weak and useless. I can't even speak up for myself and ask for help. I just endure it like I have been for all these years," Hagumi explained while looking down.
It felt like a tremendous load was off his shoulders finally getting out what was weighing him down. Being able to finally be open about his situation and confide in someone about it gave him a huge sense of comfort He had been bottling up everything inside of him due to being afraid of speaking about it to his teachers or his family. He was afraid they would shun him for being such a weakling. Having Airi there to finally listen to him made him feel like he was finally being heard.
Airi gave him a sweet smile.
"Thank you. This is the first step forward in our relationship. Don't worry about that guy anymore. Just leave it to me," she said. she gave Hagumi a kiss on the forehead. Hagumi slighly leaned back but didn't pull away. To him it was most comforting thing he'd experiencd yet. Airi had been so sweet to him, someone she barely knew. He barely knew. Just who is she? He wondered.
"K-kyoto-san-
"Eh?! After all that you still treat me like me like a stranger. To you, it's Airi. or Ai-chan. Riri? Whatever is fine," she said with a smile. Hagumi made half smile in return.
"Then... Airi, where are you from?" He asked. Airi rolled her eyes as she stood up and walked to the closes grabbing his shoes.
"I've told you twice already. I am from the Serpine clan-
"No, I mean, where do you come from? Are you a human from earth? Are you an alien?" Hagumi asked curiously. Airi smiled in amusement.
"You're absolutely right. I'm an alien from another universe here to take over the planet. I've been studying humans in order to know their biology. Humans will be my slaves and my species will inhabit the earth," Airi said sarcastically. Hagumi on the other hand believed every word she said and looked at her with a terrified look.
"Are you going to hurt me and my family?" Hagumi asked frightened. Airi scoffed.
"Honeybee. I just told you not even five minutes ago that I would protect you. I'm just joking silly. Of course, I'm not an alien. But I'm not quite human either. However, I was born here on the earth just like you, albeit many years ago when you ceased to exist. My clan has been here for centuries. We are known for our inherited ability, manipulation and deceit. As well as our signature skill, the kiss of death which poisons our enemies. I also have the power to control one of the 6 elements, that being lightning with the addition of electricity. We are a powerful clan of serpents not to be messed with. I'm a Serpine mage for short. We get our status for our draconian ways," Airi explained. She brought Hagumis shoes over to his bed. She'd only just realized he still wasn't wearing any pants and grabbed his uniform pants from the bed.
Hagumi nodded along slowly as he processed everything she was saying. Airi bent down in front of him.
"Use me to support yourself so I can put on your pants," she instructed. Hagumi listened and stood up slowly placing his hands on her back to support himself while she put on his pants. It was embarrassing to say the least, but he was grateful for her help.
"So, you're a serpent? And from what I understood you can control lightning and electricity. You also mentioned one of your skills being something called the kiss of death which poisons the enemy..."he said trailing off. He thought more about the last part before he came to a realization.
"But you've been kissing me all this time?! Aren't you poisoning me?" Hagumi asked frantically. He was a bit surprised and almost stumbled when Airi was raising his pants up. Luckily, she was there to keep his balance.
"That's true. I have been very affectionate to my honeybee, but I assure its harmless. You're immune to my poison so you don't have to worry about it," Airi said casually. Hagumi tilted his head questioningly. Airi stood up pushing Hagumi slightly to sit back down on the bed.
"I'm immune? How is that possible?" Hagumi asked. Airi gave him a [insert word for expression] look.
"Because you're mine," she said simply. Hagumi looked surprised unable on how to respond.
"Now! We've got you dressed. I guess we should fix up that hair now, its seen better days. Freshen up in the bathroom and then were ready to venture off. I smell the delicious food your mother made. I can tell she's put great effort into cooking," Airi said. She went over to his dresser grabbing the brush that lay on top of it.
"I can do it myself," Hagumi said. She had been tending to him since yesterday he didn't want to feel like he wasn't making an effort to care for himself. She smiled and shook her head.
"Nope! It's up to me to make sure my darling is looking his absolute best. In my clan doing one's hair is the ultimate romantic bonding activity," Airi said with eagerness. She sat beside Hagumi brushing his hair from his face.
"My honeybee is so beautiful. I would've never thought I'd be so lucky," she said fondly. Hagumi blushed. She had been using endearment words and complimenting him that he was becoming shy in front of her. It had been a while since he received any compliments. He'd only heard insults and pity for the past few years.
"So how exactly do you know me? Why are you being so kind to me?" Hagumi asked. Airi began brushing his hair. It was a head full of thick curls that weren't defined and instead loose.
"We've known each other for a while. You might not remember me, but I've always been watching you since birth. I know it sounds a bit weird, but I had been waiting for you for a very long time," she spoke softly. She smelled the top of Hagumi's head taking in his scent.
"We've met in a different lifetime. In fact, we've met in many lifetimes. And now again in this one. You are someone who is very important to me. I can't explain much now but you have a very important purpose. Because of that some bad people will be after you wanting to harm you. But don't worry. That's why I'm here to protect you. Once I get a few things settled I'll be able to explain these matters a bit more clearly for you. For now, put them aside," she said. Hagumi sat in thought. According to Airi they had met each other before but this is the first time he's seeing her. And what does she mean an important purpose? What does she know?
"How old are you?" Hagumi asked. Airi stopped moving the brush for few moments before continuing.
"Is that something you are particularly interested in?" she asked. Hagumi nodded slightly.
"You mentioned earlier that you were born many years ago before I existed. You also stated that we met in different lifetimes. I wouldn't think it's possible unless you've lived for a long time. A very long time," Hagumi questioned. It was still difficult to process everything they had spoken of prior, but he figured he'd drive himself insane trying to make sense of everything. He can only inquire and take it for truth.
"Hm....does it scare you? That maybe I've lived for centuries?" Airi asked. She was half joking and half serious. Hagumi fiddled with his hands.
"I mean.... It's hard not to be surprised seeing someone live more than one lifetime. Are you immortal?" Hagumi asked. Airi shook her head.
"We serpents are not immortal in the sense that we can still be killed but we cannot die from illnesses or old age. We'll simply live forever until someone kills us. We are not immune from death," she explained. Hagumi nodded in understanding.
"So how old are you?" Hagumi asked again. Airi chuckled.
"Old enough," she said kissing his cheek from behind. He blushed again. It seemed he had grown used to her affection in a short amount of time. Airi admitted to herself Hagumi was so small and cute and due to her height, would fit perfectly in her lap. She couldn't help but to want to kiss him all the time. She didn't mention it, but it was also the way her clan marked its possessions.
"I'm eighteen," Hagumi stated. Airi choked. Hagumi turned in worry.
"Are you okay, Airi?" Hagumi asked worried. Airi cleared her throat.
"Ah... yes... I just got a little surprised that's all," she said clearing her throat once more. She made a mental note to lay off the kisses. She ran her hand through his hair.
"All done! My honeybee looks so dashing," she said squeezing his cheeks. Hagumi winced a bit in pain having still been sore from getting beat up yesterday. Airi quickly retracted her hands.
"Sorry my love. That must've felt unpleasant."
"It's okay, thank you," Hagumi said. He gave her a small smile. Airi felt her heart warm inside. The smile is just the same, she thought.
"Alrighty, now let's get you freshened up and I'll carry your bag once we leave. I'll carry you down the stairs to eat breakfast and once you're out the house I'll carry you to school," Airi said.
"You're going to go out like that?" Hagumi commented. He was referring her ill-fitting outfit. Airi had completely forgotten about it.
"Ah, right," she said. Suddenly in almost a second, she snapped her fingers and her outfit immediately changed into the one he first saw her in. Her black suit and tie. Once again, Airi's dominant aura flowed brimmed the room. Hagumi couldn't help but feel the need to be submissive to her with her radiating eminence.
"How- how did you do that?" Hagumi asked in awe. He was still trying to convince himself of everything, but he just saw her change clothes in less than a second out of thin air. It's not some elaborate magic trick, was it?
"Magic, Honeybee. I did say I'm a mage. I know a few spells," Airi said proudly. Hagumi starred in awe. Just who was she?
"By the way Hagumi, that girl has been listening to us for the past thirty minutes now. Who is she?" Airi asked. Hagumi looked in confusion. Airi walked to the door and opened it revealing Erika who had been eavesdropping. She looked surprised at Airi and worried for Hagumi.
"Erika?!"
