Joe paused for a moment as his wife's words cut him deeply. "Do you not recognize me?" He asked. "I am your husband Joe."
"Fat chance on that one." Yuna laughed. "I haven't really even ever had a boyfriend, much less a tall dark and handsome husband." Yuna paused studying Joe's outfit and horns. "Especially a cosplayer. I don't know what happened to those gun men, but you should get out of here. This is far too dangerous a situation for a civilian."
"It's too dangerous for us too!" Sam shouted.
"Yuna, do you remember nothing?" Joe asked. "About coming to my world and becoming my bride?"
"As if I would have gotten caught up in one of those isekai stories." Yuna laughed again. "Look, I just do paper work all day and do office work. My life isn't as interesting as you describe. So, just stop pretending like you know me."
