Eric walked out of the summoning circle and out to the balcony overlooking the kingdom. "Tis a fine land!" He said as he looked down at the city. He turned swiftly in a circle and faced Max and Demo, flicking his hair again as he turned. "So, tell me what do you need from the greatest hero to have ever lived?"
"Well as I was explaining," Demo started, "We have a demon lord that plagues our kingdom."
"Oh, the horrors of a demon lord!" Eric said. "Tell me what horrible acts is he committing?! I must know so that I know where to strike first!"
"Well…" Max started.
"Is he burning villages?" Eric asked. "Or perhaps violating young women? Is he demanding tribute and draining the treasury dry? Does his armies murder any who dare walk outside the city walls?!"
"Actually…" Demo said.
