Chapter 51 - Joe the Painter

At the castle Joe was sitting on his throne, waiting for his wife's return. He grew impatient with each passing moment, "Albert, why did I send them away so far?" He said with a grimace. "My mind is plagued with worry for her safety."

"The queen shall be fine in Lady Tyrell's care," Albert said calmly, "There are not many who could best her. She is powerful in her own right."

Joe thought back to the girl's recent injuries, "I want to protect her from harm...I should head over there now and check up on her. I should make sure everything is alright," he said rising to his feet.

"That would be unwise, my lord," Albert said hastily, surprised by the demon lord's abrupt decision. "You are trying to win her favor. I would advise you to remain patient."
