Back at the goblin village Melody the succubus had just arrived and knocked on the gate. The goblins peeked their heads over the wall and saw that it was a succubus. "What do you want?" One of the goblins on the wall yelled. "We have no need for a succubus in our village."
"I was ordered to come protect you by the queen," Melody said. "I know you would not like to incur the queen's wrath, so let me in."
The gate slowly opened and the goblin chief met her inside. "I was unaware that the lord had married," The chief said. "We should probably prepare him a wedding gift." He paused to think. "What do you get an all-powerful demon lord that has the world at his fingertips, I wonder."
"Gifts are unnecessary," Melody said. "I worked in the castle for a long time and I never once have seen the lord like a gift. You may try to win the favor of the new queen; I believe you know her. Some human girl with purple eyes, named Yuna."
