Chapter 21 - Chapter Two Dear reader! let me know if you're reading- Oyindamola Oluremi

The blurry vision slowly cleared, making him to be crystal clear before her. A smirk emerged from his lips. He was towering over her. She felt uneasy under his stare and tried to roll farther from him but she couldn't. She shifted twice and he returned to his feet from the bed.

"Wake up. You've been sleeping since ages" he exaggerated with a short hiss. She chuckled and rose up with a yawn.

All these while she felt uninvited butterflies in her stomach. Probably because he was towering over her. She shrugged.

"How did you wake me up?" She stopped on way towards the bathroom, turning back.

"I pecked you?" He answered back like a question.

Her cheeks hurt slightly with a blush before rushing in to the bathroom for her shower.

He settled on one of the couches and reached for a newspaper laid on a nearby stood. He crossed his right leg on the left one and ordered for a bottle of champagne.

She wiped her face with the hem of the towel and the thought of what to wear sprung to her mind. He had instructed her not to pack her clothes along. She only came with outing attires that she was gifted with by his two sisters.

Would she wear his shirt again? She pondered gently in her mind. She entered the room, feeling like the night before. The short towel needs to be changed.

She found that he had opened her box, checking for a dress she could wear. A staff entered without knocking.

He startled, not knowing where to start with her.

"You're stupid, you know?" He asked and she nodded continuously, trembling.

"Drop the drink" he ordered and she obeyed and hurried away. His eyes followed her with a hiss and turned back to what's he was doing earlier. He settled with a blue floral crop jacket with its shorts a nod. He turned to see  if she was done in the bathroom, Alas! She was right behind him, staring like a lost puppy.

"Since when you've been standing there?" He inquired, standing up for her to dress up.

While creaming and palming her hair, she prayed he'd go out like he did before. Rather, he yawned loudly and crashed on the bed. She moved to the wardrobe room but it was directly facing him, though he eyes were closed.

She checked if the cozy room have a door. It had a door but how would she lock a room she had no business with.  Non of her clothes were there, what..

She gathered courage and slammed the door gently. She quickly changed before a second thought. Releasing her hair down, she felt elegant as ever, she walked out of the room like a model on a runway.

Her eyes hit him with his eyes widely opened. She froze instantly and couldn't removed her gaze. His soft stare was fixed on a position as well.

"You're staring at me? Goan wear your shoes" he laughed and her gaze fell in embarrassment as she walked back to her box. She never knew she was staring helplessly at him, checking him out?! She took a pair of sky blue sneakers out and matched it with her blue attire.

She packed her new set of make-up and walked to the dressing mirror, settling them on the table. She sat and and tried to start.

"You want to wear makeup?" His voice stopped her.

"Of course!" She replied with a chuckle.

"No!"

He objected, jumping down from the bed. He went to over to her and rested his arms on her shoulder down to her chest.

"You don't need to wear makeup, Periwinkle" he said calmly with a steamy voice followed by a quick peck on each sides of her burning cheeks.

Periwinkle was fast becoming a pet name. She chuckled softly in her mind.

He drew her by her hand and his arms claimed her waist, leading her out of the room.

He ordered a driver to get them to Modan Lux store. She saw what she expected or more. Glass walls, crazily furnished, madly chilling air condition.

He settled on a couch and continued on his phone.

"Am I the clothes?" He rose a brow at her.

"Maybe she wants you to go with her" a friend she never noticed appeared out of the blues, speaking for her. But he was true though.

He rose a brow at her again to know if  that was she really wants. She nodded shyly. She'd rather risk it than getting stuck with how to start.

He rose with a deep sigh and held her hand while they made the shopping. He shot her glares whenever he took a hundred or thousand dollars outfits and she gasp.

Non of the other shoppers who wanted a picture could get it. The look on Harry, his personal bodyguard and respect that he was having a moment with his girl or whoever she might be stood as why's.

Before she knew it, a pretty fair complexioned lady was already taking video of everything she was in for in the boutique while Ayo attention was caught by his friend who took him back. She was a bit scared, it was a bit weird to her.

"Tlay's meal without makeup!... Littt!!" She hyped, beaming with smiles. But Aminat rather felt embarrassed being referred to a meal. Whose meal?! I am Aminat. She sneered disgustingly in her mind.

"Annie! Take your phone down. She's getting scared" Ayo warned the pretty lady.

"Nahhh... She's too beautiful to get my camera down from" she flattered and Aminat turned sideways to blush.

With the camera and glances, she hasten herself and got done on time. Ayo walked over and dropped his debit card. The amount withdrawn made his wife to run out of blood for a second. She dropped her bags in the car but he wasn't done with talking with his friends.

She was definitely the hundred pose picture type. But the stares were too much. She took a picture and pause to stare back. More people walked by and stared. She got tired and pose for another one despite all odds. When the picture shot, she discovered he was right behind her, smiling and talking with someone from afar.

She stared at the picture again and smiled. That was the original picture. He turned to see her struggling to take a picture between the stares and smirked.

"Let's go" he opened the owner's seat and they left the shopping mall.

The rest of the day was spent by Aminat was just sleeping and checking out the house. The video Annie lady took had went viral with different captions. Many social medias handlers were still yet to believe that he was married just like that.

Some still say it's a prank to fool people. But the question was, does Tlay looks like a clout chaser or someone in need of hot chase for more fame?? He had enough.

Towards the evening, he stumbled home and she wondered aloud what made him at  home so early.

He crashed on the bed with her and she tried to shift a bit but his arm stopped her by her waist. He sat up and towered over her. Her eyes changed and her heart skipped a beat. He buried his head in her neck and wet it with slow but steady kisses. He lowered his body on hers a bit, making it steamier.

He sneaked his hand into her hair and glued their lips together. She helped by parting her lips and flirts his tongue around playing around with it.   With their bodies laid closely on each other, his lips claimed hers permanently.

Slowing himself, he started trying what he didn't planned. His hand went travelled to her upper thigh, at a time he felt her panties and tried to pull it down when the demon left him.

He stopped everything. Everything. His whole aroused body went down when he stared at her. Aminat who was so short of words was so disappointed on why he stopped. She wasn't sure if she could handle she didn't plan on doing on a sudden evening.

He was just there, staring helplessly like a signpost. Unable to ask him why he stopped, she threw her head sideways in anger. He just turned her up for nothing?!

"Olamide" he called after it seemed he just found his voice.

She turned back at him with a frown. The way he called her sounded so dead serious.

"Come" he stretched out his hand to reach for hers and she gave in. He couldn't trust himself anymore, he might go against himself if he would discuss everything on the bed.

He sat her down on a nearby couch and squat in her front, still holding her two hands. He could see the fear in her eyes.

"Don't be scared..." He started and gaze fell down.

"I'm sorry about everything. I mean everything. I wasn't the one who brought the idea, my mum did. I didn't mean to hurt anyone.."

"You're sorry about what?" She was running out of patience.

"The marriage. This marriage I mean. I know you might have a boyfriend that you love and this might have cause something ugly between you two"

Aminat decided to keep mute and watch him say whatever he wants to say till he's done. She couldn't just pick a word to comprehend out if all what he said. It kept looking like she was watching a Spanish movie that was not subtitled.

"So... I have a plan to make us get out of this mess. Since we did a quiet wedding, we can do a quiet divorce that nobody would know unless we tell them" he finally finished and paused to see her reaction.

Without even caring if he was going to fall with his back, she stood up abruptly and descended fire and brimstones on him.

"What the hell are you saying! Did you record what you're saying and play it to your ears and check if it's appealing?!" The level of irritation in her voice couldn't be undermined. She slapped her forehead with her left palm and her right palm covered her left mouth from crying.

"I'm asking for a divorce just for the benefit of the two of us!" Despite the fact that he had never seen her reacting angrily, he stood up to her.

"A divorce?"

Tears stung the edges of her both eyes and her whole body trembled in pain. She wanted to slump down and roll on the bare floor, crying her eyes out.

"Thi..ss.. marriage iss.. just two days old Ayo. Two days!" She stammered,  raising two fingers up in indication. She actually called him by his name since they got married or met.

"Two weeks" he corrected but she hissed. It was true. They were married before they met.

She gently reached for the nearby armrest and hold before she fell on her bum to the floor. She sobbed again the couch, biting her lips in regret. Phlegm rushed strode down her nostrils to her lipline.

Tired of everything, he stormed out of the room to drink.
