"Well, unfortunately we will have to part for tonight. I look forward to the next time we meet." Niklaus shakes Dameon's hand with a disheartened smile before deciding to opt for a more friendly gesture.
"It was a pleasure meeting you. Hopefully we can do this again when our schedules align. In the meantime, take care of yourself." Dameon graciously accept the welcoming embrace which felt strangely out of character for him while wishing well to my brother.
The dinner lasted for much longer than I expected and the both of them were parting ways like a pair of best friends who hadn't seen each other in years. It seems like the preparation Dameon made to ensure my brother liked him paid of, given how friendly they were with one another.
In fact... They get along so well that I feel like I'm the third wheel here!
