The days flew by with the blink of an eye and it was just another day till Doyle's departure date. Most of his bags had already been packed as he had also slowly shipped his necessary luggage over.
I lean on the seat as he went over his list one last time. He had on a dark blue sweater and had tied his fringe up while donning a pair of glasses. It was the most relax and comfortable look he had on, yet my heart had been throbbing since this morning.
Doyle lifted his nose out from his checklist before beaming at me. Instead of averting my gaze, I smile back although it felt painful to do so.
"With that out of the way... I'm done. Shall we go for a walk?" Doyle heads over and slumps onto the seat beside me, his arm slinging over my shoulder as I fell against his chest.
"... Okay."
