Miss Kathy contacted her attorney Paul and set up a meeting as soon as she got back to the house. Time quickly passed and now it was time to go meet with him. She turned to the girls and said, "You all need to stay inside and watch out for each other. " She turned to look right at Gina and said, "You too are to stay away from the door and try not to be seen in the windows to let anyone looking for you know where you are." She then touched Gina's cheek and said, "Stay safe my little love."
Gina looked up at her and could not help but smile. She felt so loved at that moment the way that the soft hand gently touched her cheek if she closed her eyes, she knew that she would see her mom's loving face. She felt so many emotions run through her that it made a tear run down her cheek. Miss Kathy kissed her cheek lovingly and wiped the tear away and said, "Don't worry love I won't be that long. Stay safe till I get back." and she gave her a little wink.
