Captain Linch made his way back to Captain Filmore and said, "I want Details on what happened to Gina."
Captain Filmore looked down and said, "We lost her overboard in the storm we are not sure what happened they were told to go below. We don't know what happened after that. We assume she came on deck to get something and was swept overboard. That is all we know about that. No one saw what happened to the girl."
Linch looked at the men and could tell that was the truth of what happened by the way they were acting.
Rodger asked, "Did you go looking for her?"
Filmore replied, "We did not know that she was missing till morning. By the time we doubled back, there were no signs of her. Now go and leave us you have what you want."
Captain Linch asked, "You dropped Katie off at Santa Cruz?"
Filmore nodded and said, "Yes we took her to Santa Cruz."
"What happened to Gina's things I think her dad is entitled to collect her things," Linch said.
