'How long has it been?... It feels like ages. I can't deny that I am to blame for this...but I can't let them get away with what they did.' A lone being thought as they flew across a dark chasm.

'...I had to do something to make him move, even if it meant that he would eventually hate me...his growth has been too slow...I suppose that I'll need to give him another push.'

>>>>*Wednesday, Gotham 8:00 A.M*<<<<

The phone call Ethan received was from none other than his newest recruit, Slade.

The mercenary had it quite rough over the past couple of days, but nothing was more important than finding the whereabouts of his family. Eventually, he came upon a lead that gave him hope of reuniting with them, and as of yesterday, he discovered the lead turned out to be worth it.

He finally found them!

However, he was confused as to why his family was in their current location and even Ethan didn't have a clue.

Luckily, they were in Gotham, but a certain person was holding them...a person who was supposed to be long dead.

Penguin.

Originally, Ethan thought it was a joke and Slade got the name wrong, but Sandra soon explained what Batgirl had told her on the night she went looking for Cassandra.

It wasn't the old Penguin he was thinking of, it was someone else who picked up the name for some odd reason. Sandra then went a little further and explained the man's features and almost immediately he remembered.

It was the man that tried to kidnap Alisa!

'Ah...Alisa...'

The name was revolving in his mind ever since he returned to Gotham, however, he tried his best not to think about it.

He'll never forgive himself for doing what he did, and he even went as far as wondering if he could have handled it some other way.

Ethan blamed Tydris for what happened, but deep down he knew that it was his fault.

Why was he so gullible?

Although he could not change the past, he still somewhat hoped to hear the old dragon's voice again.

Ethan needed the lizard's wisdom for him to become stronger as he knew far too well that raw power won't be enough to protect what he loves. The DC universe was filled with beings that could wipe entire civilizations of the face of the Earth for just looking at them the wrong way. A single thought and entire planets could be destroyed in an instant.

These beings didn't just possess strength, but powers that could be considered as cheats that can tip the scales in their favor.

'...I'm still so...so insignificant, but I can't let it stop me. I WON'T let it stop me ' Ethan promised himself as he rolled over on his bed in the master bedroom of the RV. Left alone with his thoughts, he also started to wonder if he has done something wrong.

For the first time in a while, Ethan slept alone in his bed and he has no clue why nor did his wives insinuate that something happened.

'Whatever...for now I'll focus on what is in front of me. The Court Of Owls...League Of Assasins...Two major powers that messed with someone they shouldn't have...' Ethan angrily growled as his crimson eyes gave off a ferocious light.

If he was any other person he probably would have let them go as they didn't injure Sandra at all when she rescued her daughter. Unfortunately for them, a dragon will never forgive someone for trying to injure their mate.

Never.

>>>>*Wednesday, Gotham 6:23 A.M*<<<<

Earlier that morning, Sandra, Pamela, Harley, and Myra were conversing with each other in the living area of the RV about the current events.

"Don't you think we should call it quits by now?" Myra said with a sigh. "I..don't feel all too good about doing this."

Sandra nodded her head, "I always make sure that I win my battles, but even I know that there are times to retreat."

"Please!!" Harley shouted. "I don't think I can survive another damn day like this. I can barely control myself anymore." The blondie wanted nothing to do with Pamela's plan in the first place, but she called in a favor that she couldn't refuse.

For what exactly?

If a person had a choice to see God then...wouldn't they?

God being that diner that sells the best fries that her mouth hole has ever tasted. Of course, one can only get those when they have money and Harley...had none at the time.

'Curse you past me!!... Why we're you so terrible with money?!' Harley pouted as she longingly gazed at the door to the RV's master bedroom. If given the chance the blondie probably would have broken down the door and forced her man to play bumper karts...with their bodies.

"You guys..." Pamela couldn't lie, she felt a bit regretful about starting this petty revenge plan. Although she wanted the plan to succeed, she wasn't doing this just to get back at Ethan.

She was doing this because she was afraid.

Afraid that eventually the man she loved would grow tired of them and toss them aside like they were mere trash to be discarded.

The situation was quite absurd seeing how she's gained so much power that she couldn't begin to explain everything she could do with just a snap of her fingers.

And here she was...afraid about losing a man she at first despised.

After that first night with Ethan, Pamela started to feel and even understand more things that she hasn't even told him about because he already had too much on his plate. She could see that this powerful man despite putting on a brave front was barely holding it together.

Things have certainly moved too fast, but she wasn't regretting anything that happened. Pamela loved the way he laughed and smiled and even loved how he joked around to make her smile...

For that man, she wanted to become the forest that protects him and shelters him whenever he needs it.

But what's stopping him from throwing her away?

The idea of polygamy isn't new, but it's particularly frowned upon and for good reasons. However, she loves Ethan and she knows that he loves all of them.

But...

How many will there be?

And will he still treat her the same as all of those women around?

Will she...eventually lose her place?

Pamela shook her head, frowning a bit as she rubbed her temple. 'You're really driving me crazy Ethan. If only I could forget everything...the betrayal..the heartache...I wouldn't be so...It's so painful keeping all of this inside...but I...'

Before she delved any deeper into despair she felt a warm sensation spread throughout her body which originated from her abdomen. A soft smile soon graced her lips as she placed her hand over the source of the warm feeling.

'You can't even talk and you're already trying to console your mother? Isn't that your father's job?' Pamela thought while rubbing her stomach.

Sandra, Harley, and even Myra sighed while looking at Pamela.

Who couldn't see that she was doing this to keep Ethan interested in them? She could have done this by herself and yet she asked everyone else to be a part of it. She was a bit forceful, but it all came from a good place and they wouldn't have gone along with it if they didn't feel the same.

Ruining Mera's chances of being intimate with Ethan?

Oh, that was just out of pure spite.

Raven on the other hand was aware of everything, but she was trying her best to stay out of things like this...her demonic side wasn't playing nice anymore.

She could hear his voice more frequently now and her techniques aren't doing their job anymore.

Did she perhaps make the mistake of opening her heart to Ethan?

Raven frowned,' No...I don't regret it all. If we can't defeat him...then I will do...what's necessary.'

>>>>*Wednesday, Gotham 9:34 A.M*<<<<

Everyone had long gotten up and dressed for the day. Myra had made breakfast for everyone and was getting quite good at cooking that even Mera was quiet while eating.

"So, what's the big plan?" Harley asked as she climbed into Ethan's lap with a seductive look on her face.

Ethan quickly wrapped an arm around her thin waist, pulling Harley as close as possible before he started to explain.

The first plan of action was to meet up with Slade at one of his warehouses and once there they would plan their attack as they needed to be particularly careful in this situation.

None of his wives truly cared about Slade's family, but they were going to take this seriously for Ethan's sake. However, if this in any way caused harm to him...then they won't hesitate to drop someone.

"Ugh...I hate rescue missions! They're so annoying." Harley groaned as she snuggled close to Ethan's chest. "Can't we just ignore them?"

Ethan shook his head, "I wish, but I gave him my word. I may not be a hero, but I'll do everything to keep the promises I make. So make sure to listen?" He said, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Harley groaned once more and continued to snuggle against him while subtly inhaling his scent to keep herself calm. Mera wanted to share a few words with the blond, but she managed to stay quiet as she was thinking of a way to help her husband. Despite being the least liked among Ethan's wives, they did take time to explain his circumstances.

It was a bit overwhelming at first, but she stilled herself with her will alone.

'Hmm...the only way to learn about the whereabouts of what he was looking for...I'll need to go back home. I wonder...how is everything going back there?'

((A/N: Just a refresher. Ethan wanted to know more about Atlan the former ruler of Atlantis. I haven't forgotten as it's just moving along in the background.))

The rest of the morning was quite normal with everyone relaxing before the big job. It was quite peaceful until an incident involving a certain someone.

It was midday, Ethan was sitting cross-legged on the master bed as he cultivated. He hadn't really done it since he had a falling out with Tydris and was hoping he'll get a better insight while doing this.

The energy around him was thin just like Tydris had explained to him which made it important to find places or things that were filled with energy.

But what really is this energy?

He understood he turn it into his dragonic essence to improve his strength...but what exactly is it?

Of course, in the DC universe, there were hundreds of different sources of power and some were even connected in the grand scheme of things...

Perhaps if Ethan read more or asked more questions then he'd understand the questions he has, but for now, they will have to be left unanswered.

As he focused, he lost awareness of his surroundings and didn't even notice when someone came into the room.

Even his wives who were more attentive didn't notice the intruder.

Soon after, a familiar soft sensation pressed against Ethan's lips, startling him for at least a second before he kissed back. He knew who the intruder was from their scent alone as it was quite mellow like lavender or something similar.

A soft womanly groan sounded out in the room, forcing Ethan to open his eyes to look at the perpetrator. Immediately he stares into the beautiful eyes of a woman that was in obvious need of her man. Seeing her like this instantly stirred Ethan's libido and he couldn't look away for even a second.

"...Raven." He muttered softly as he tried his best to reign in his desire, however, it was hard when he's been denied intimacy for quite some time, and to make matter's worse, Raven found her away into his lap.

She straddled him almost effortlessly, sitting on him with her more than generous rear-end as she hooked her arms around his neck.

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos..." Raven muttered, conjuring what looked to be a small force field that was large enough to cover them and the bed.

It would seem that she didn't to be interrupted at all.

After the force field was up, she kissed him once again, sucking on his soft warm lips as she started to rock her hips back and forth.

"Raven...We can't do this.." Ethan tried to refuse the enticing woman with what sense he had left. Although he wanted to do so many things to her at this point, he did in fact make a promise to her that he planned on keeping.

Unfortunately, even after hearing what Ethan had to say, Raven continued to kiss him roughly while occasionally biting on his lips hard, leaving light marks that immediately healed each time.

"...Don't you want me?" She seductively asked, her voice sounding a bit distorted now. Her previous pale skin started to shift into a crimson red just as another set of eyes appeared directly above her original ones before turning completely red.

"You can't hide it from me...I can feel it...your desire..." A smirk formed across her lips as she feels something rise underneath her. Obviously, she knew what it was and it made her feel good...no it made her feel incredible.

Knowing her man was still attracted to her was a wonderful feeling.

She then chuckled softly while removing her cloak with her telekinesis, "You want this...you want me...even now I can feel that you want to ravage me. You can't hide how you feel from me~"

If Ethan wasn't trying to hold back, he would have already had her pinned underneath him on the bed. Although her demon side was controlling her actions, her body was still a precious work of art that he very much wanted to explore.

He would even go as far as saying that this form greatly enhanced her allure, but he'd rather that Raven was actually in control as that is who he fell in love with...

Seeing Ethan struggle so much made Raven want to tease him even further. She wanted him to lose himself to his growing lust and have it unleashed all on her. Her thoughts were quite harmless at first, but then they grew more evil by the second.

"Just let go...," She whispered as she grabbed hold of his right hand, slowly pressing it against her soft ample chest. "Leave it all to me and we'll-"

Suddenly, Raven paused mid-sentence, leaving Ethan a bit dazed until he felt something or rather someone tugging on his mind. His first thought was to circulate his essence to block the person, but then he started to hear Raven's voice inside of his head.

["ETHAN! I need help! I-I can't keep it together anymore! It's beginning to be too much!! I need you! Please!!"] Raven screamed.

It didn't take a genius to understand what she was asking him to do, however, he was a bit concerned as he was unsure of what he could do to help.

Thankfully, that thought only lasted a second as he lets Raven pull his mind into the unknown depths of her own.

>>>>*Raven's Mind ?:?? A.M*<<<<

The desire to understand the mind has been the driving force behind many scientific endeavors, leading to the development of theories and experiments aimed at explaining the mechanics of being alive. The brain houses a complex network of cells that receives information from the internal and external environment, turning it into a vital experience that shapes the world and the relationships organisms have with it.

Scientists today can't even begin to fully understand the mind and even less so for Erhan. He was experiencing something more than just strange, it was downright insane.

Ethan knew he was no longer in the real world, and yet he could breathe. He could even feel the subtle wind that brushed against his skin as he stood upon a craggy stone path suspended over a dark abyss.

Despite the obvious gloomy atmosphere, it was almost serene, making Ethan subconsciously want to sleep or meditate.

Although he wished to learn more about this space, he knew that he was brought in for a reason and immediately started to run along the path in front of him.
