Chapter 4 - Chapter 3

"Where's Zach?" Aunt look around,  "Zachary!" Auntie Chinny Yelled.

"He's not here Chinny, I don't know where he is." Mom answered.

"What happened? We fly all the way here when we heard the news."

Auntie Chinny is uncle Zach's ex wife,

They leave uncle Zach because he's taking up drugs. Uncle Zach always hurt his family that's why they decided to lived in America.

"Auntie where's lolo? Dainty asked.

"His corpse is currently at the Loyola Memorial Chapels, we're going there later after we eat dinner."

"Hi Dainty, Hi Angelo! I really missed you." I walk towards Dainty's direction because I want to hug her, I was so shocked when she suddenly pushed me away that's why I fell on the ground.

"I didn't miss you Chloe!" Dainty rolled her eyes.

"Dainty stop it!" Angelo boldly said.

Angelo walk towards me to help me stand up.

"I'm sure it's uncle Gavin's fault when grandpa died." Dainty raised her eyebrow.

"It's not daddy's fault Dainty! Dad didn't do anything! It's uncle Zach's fault, he punched my Dad that's why Grandpa had a heart attack." I explained.

"She's to young, she won't understand. I'm sorry for her attitude." Angelo sincerely said.

"That's not true Chloe, you're a fucking liar!" He pushed me again but this time Mommy already saw it."

"Dainty why did you do that?" Her eyes widened in shock.

"Because Chloe is liar." Dainty said.

"I'm not! I'm just telling the truth Dainty open your eyes!" I exclaimed.

When people almost see the truth, they always choose to look away because it's too painful to accept the fact.

"You two shouldn't fight, we are family. We must help each other. Come on let's eat." Mom said.

"I'm sorry mom." I said then walk towards the dining table.

"I hope I'm not a Garcia." Dainty crossed her arms then rolled her eyes.

"Dainty can you please stop? Let's eat first." Angelo scolded her.

"Where's your mom Angelo?" Mommy asked.

"She's currently talking to someone at the phone. Maybe because of our business."

"Nanny can you call Chinny? Just look for her."

"Yes Ma'am."

"Thank  you."

"Let's eat." Mom said.

Where just eating quietly, I look at Dainty. She didn't even touch her food.

After a minute auntie Chinny get inside.

"Dainty! Why don't you eat your food?" Auntie asked.

"I don't have the appetite to eat."

"Dainty you should eat!"

"I said I don't want to eat!" She walked away.

"I'm sorry." Auntie said.

After we eat, we go at the Loyola Memorial Chapel this is grandpa's first night. Daddy badly want to see his dad but his still at the hospital.

We rode on the van together with my cousin's and auntie Chinny.

After an hour we already arrived.

There are lots of people here giving sympatize.

"Condolence Ms. Garcia." Someone told me.

I just smiled at her even though I badly want to cry again.

I just seat in front of Grandpa's coffin.

"Here, wipe your tears grandpa won't be happy if he will see you like that." Angelo gave me his handkerchief.

"Thank you." I hug him.

I didn't know that my tears started streaming down my face.

"You're being dramatic Chloe!" Dainty rolled her eyes again for the third time.

"You didn't know my pain Dainty!" I badly want to slap her but I restrained myself and  walked away.

I just walk outside while crying. I need some fresh air, I want to be alone right now.

I went to the park and cried there for a while.

"Chloe? Is that you?" A manly voice asked.

I wiped my tears away before I turn around.

"Yes, it's me Jax."

"Why are you here?" His brows furrowed.

"I just want to be alone, but you're here now." I chuckles.

"I'm sorry I suddenly showed up, are you okay?" He gave me an apologetic smile.

"I'm okay but not totally fine." I smiled at him.

"Why?"

"My Grandpa died last April 6."

"I'm sorry if I asked you, condolence Chloe. Everything will be fine soon just stay strong."

"I will." I nodded.

He gave me a hug to give me some comfort. I started crying again on his chest.

"Hey!" He hold my face to wipe my tears away, "Just cry Chloe, I'm here for you. You're not alone."

I cried almost an hour. I didn't notice that it's getting late.

"Thank you Jax, thank you for being here for me."

"I'm here for you and that is always, Let me tell you a secret Chloe."

"What is it?" I curiously asked.

"I like you Chloe." He proudly said.

"I'm sorry I didn't hear you clearly Jax. Can you said it again?" I want to teased him.

"Nothing." He frowned.

"Come on Jax, just say it again." I chuckles.

"I like you Chloe Eleanor Garcia."

"I don't like you Jax, but I like you as a friend.

"Friend zone?" He scratched his head.

"I think yes, I value friend

ship more than anything Jax. I'm sorry I don't want to hurt you. Atleast I like you as my friend."

"It's okay, I didn't expect you to like me back Chloe. Just let me adore you."

He gave me a big smile.

"Jax I need to go now, maybe mom already looking for me."

"I'll go with you, it's too dangerous at night."

"I can handle myself Jax, I'm not a kid anymore."

"I just want to keep you safe." He smirked.

"You're being sweet huh?"

"I'm not being sweet Chloe, I'm a gentleman." He chuckles.

"Gentleman your face!" I laughed.

We already arrived in front of Loyola Memorial Chapel.

"Would you like to come in?" I asked him.

"No, we'll just come here tommorow. I need to go my brother is waiting for me."

"Okay thank you Jax."

"Good night Chloe. Don't take away the smile on your face."

"Good night." I waved my hands then smiled at him.

I walk inside.

"Where have you been Chloe? your mother is so worried. She's looking for you." Aunt Chinny calmly said.

"I'm sorry I just need some fresh air."

"I know it's hard Chloe but you need to be strong, because at the end of the day you only have yourself." She gave me a hugged.
