Confession in Fear
As the mysterious guy's laughter echoed through the air, Tiana, Advaith, and the others felt a chill run down their spines. The atmosphere grew even more ominous as the mysterious guy finally began to speak.
With a sweeping motion, he raised both hands to the sky. The air seemed to vibrate with anticipation as he summoned a burst of magical energy. A sharp, sparkling light shot out from his hands, illuminating the dark surroundings.
The mysterious guy directed the sparkling light towards the ground ahead, and as it made contact, the earth began to shudder and tremble. The group watched in horror as the ground transformed into a deep, fiery abyss of lava.
The air grew hotter, and the smell of molten rock filled their nostrils. Amidst the swirling flames, a few large rocks floated precariously on the surface of the lava, barely stable enough for one person to stand on.
