- One Week Later Night Time -
Dionis dodges a sword with his tail moving slightly to the left avoiding Hyker's attack.
Hyker swings his tail, Dionis ducking under it.
Dionis jumps over his kick and lowers his head from Hyker's punch.
Dionis stretches out and knees Hyker up before kicking him sideways into a wall.
Hyker groans and nods. "Good."
"You sure you not going easy?"
"Would I ever go easy during training?" Hyker gets himself out of the wall.
"You right."
Hyker nods patting his shoulder. "Get some rest. I'll give you three days off. Then Kale should be back and it's crunch time. Then we go on patrol."
Dionis nods and heads back inside the house.
"Food is ready." Orin sets plates down.
"Okay, I'll bathe first, I'll be fast"
Dionis heads to the bathroom and takes a hot bath.
- At Dinner -
"How was training?" Rosa fixes his face.
"A little easier than usual. I think what Aliss said is getting to him" he chuckles.
"Possibly."
"He gave me three days off so, I guess I'll help around the house and if you two need anything I'll go get it."
"That is ok honey, we have everything we need for now you just get your rest" Rosa smiles.
Orin washes the dishes. "Actually I do need some fish if you don't mind. Not a lot but where they are, well…"
"I got it don't worry." Dionis pats his back before getting up and handing him his dirty plate. "Goodnight you two"
"Goodnight" they say.
Rosa looks at Orin.
"Our little plan?"
"It's perfectly fine if he's there"
Dionis stretches before laying down in his bed dozing off.
A crackling sound is heard from where Rosa and Orin placed the egg that had grown to full the full size of a person.
- Morning -
Dionis opens his eyes slowly staring into the eyes of a girl who looks his age. Long dark brown hair with green eyes. Naked light green dragon scale skin and freckles covering her nose.
"Um…" he looks at her nude body that is clinging to him as if she were a baby to their mother.
He tries to get her off causing her to hiss. He stops and she's goes back to hugging him.
He looks around his room. "Windows are closed, no holes or anything." He gets up with the girl holding on to him like a monkey on a tree.
"Ok girl, let's go see Rosa and Orin". He sniffs finding the scent of the egg and finds it. "You sneaks."
Rosa yawns opening her eyes finding Dionis standing above her with the girl still hanging on to him.
"Wanna explain something?" He stares at her.
"Say hi to your new friend"
"What'd you two do?"
Orin wakes up and looks over. "I knew she'd wake up today"
"Before Jane and Aliss came back into your life, you seemed so lonely. You wished for a friend so we thought we'd help get you a new friend. We uh snuck into your room took a scale from you. Sylvi helped us with the process of making her. So here she is."
The girl looks up at him with a blank stare.
"Does she have a name?"
They shake their heads.
"We thought we'd leave that up to you."
Dionis looks at her. "Nyx. Her being this close makes me feel like she's very protective."
"Nice to meet you Nyx."
She tilts her head and pokes his chest.
"You can call me Dionis" he smiles.
She tilts her head the other way and blinks.
"Might wanna start smaller."
"…. Dio. You can call me Dio"
"D-D…io"
Dionis nods and helps her. "D-I-O"
Rosa smiles. "She'll get it."
Dionis nods and hugs Rosa and Orin. "Thank you."
Nyx hugs them too.
Rosa giggles and nods "Of course".
Dionis leaves their room and goes to the kitchen getting out some food. "Hungry?" He looks at her and feeds her a piece of meat which she eats hungrily.
"Yeahhh I'll get you more to eat".
A knock on the door is heard.
Dionis walks over and opens the door.
"Hey D-" Jane sees Nyx hanging on to him and crosses her arms.
"Hey she's not who you think" he laughs. "Cmon in I'll explain."
Nyx stares at her and hisses.
Dionis rubs her back, "Sssh sssh it's ok, she's family, this is Jane."
Nyx keeps staring at her.
"Explain please."
"Well Rosa and Orin made her. From one of my dragon scales-"
"And Aliss's hair."
"Excuse me? You did what???" Dionis's eyes widen at Orin.
"You shouldn't have told him that idiot."
Jane laughs. "Ohhhh she's gonna love this"
"No no no no. You won't say anything yet. The force that will be around when they meet will be strong and I have a feeling Nyx here will attempt to hurt her so we avoid that for now. Until I teach her how to basically live and everything else. I'll teach her to talk, be more polite"
Nyx nuzzles against him.
"Not be so clingy"
"She's so cute though"
Jane giggles.
"Why is she naked?"
"She was born just this morning so."
"In full size? She looks your age."
"She is. But she is also like a newborn. Hence why he has to nurture her and teach her new things like you would a new baby. Obviously we'll help but this is his journey." Rosa feeds Nyx again.
Nyx noms the piece of meat getting her face dirty.
Dionis looks at Jane with puppy dog eyes.
"Guh, yes I'll help too"
Dionis smiles. "Thanks sis."
"Yeah yeah. I came here to go hunting with you but I can see she is extremely clingy so I'll come back another time."
Dionis nods. "Don't tell Aliss"
"Yeah yeah" she feeds Nyx and smiles. "Bye Nyx".
Nyx pats her face while eating.
Jane giggles and leaves.
Dionis looks at Nyx. "We've got a long road ahead of us Nyx."
