Galorex reaches behind himself, and pulls out a small piece of meat. He gently drops the meat in his son's open maw.
Orian chirps happily recognizing both his name, and his father's voice. The second egg pops open as a blue baby dragon practically jumps out. She shakes her gooey head as she rolls onto her belly. She cries out excitedly at the smell of the meat.
As the two little ones settle down both dragons look to the third egg as the moon begins to rise. They both nudge the egg gently. Their eyes sadden visibly.
Moonlight slowly begins to filter down into the cave. The two dragons slowly lay their heads by their surviving offspring. A silent crack spreads out from the very end of the last egg. The egg cracks rapidly, almost violently, as the cracks streak all the way from the top to the bottom. A small baby dragon head shoots through the shell.
The shells clattering to the ground being to first sound to give away the hatchlings presence. The heads of both dragons snap up suddenly at the sound. Moonlight glints off her almost cristiline white scales. She sniffs the air as she opens her big red eyes. She blinks slowly as she looks to her stunned parents.
Both dragons lean forward, and sniff their youngest hatchling. She pulls herself out of the crumpling eggshell, and chirps hungrily. The two dragons look at each other stunned.
She gulps it down hungrily. She sighs happily making her way towards the other hatchlings. Her mother picks her up in her jaws gently, and sets her down with the others. She sighs as she settles between her much larger siblings, and falls asleep.
