"I missed you big brother…"
"Where were you?"
"I wanted to be brave…"
"Will you hold my hand?"
Joe held his sickly sister's hand. Feeling her cold and fragile hand.
"I am here for you, little sis! Don't give up…"
A desperate plea of Joe to his younger sister.
Laying weak and tired on the hospital bed, the siblings held each other's hand, hoping that there would be a better tomorrow for both of them. And they would still be together.
"Don't be scared, as long as I am here for you!" Joe tried to convince his younger sister but it was him who needed more convincing that things will be alright.
He woke up suddenly from his own nightmare.
Something he did not want to revisit.
"Having nightmares too?" Alliyah asked.
She noticed that her friend, the veteran hunter was having a nightmare of his own.
