In the present.
Anastasia is numb all over.
Curled into a ball, she just continues sitting on the corner of the room, surrounded by a sea of fire. After setting a good portion of the place ablaze, she finally regained all of her memories - with the flames serving as the trigger for this recovery.
But then, contrary to her optimistic thinking before, Anastasia is nowhere near relieved nor glad even after she remembers everything about her past.
As she remained silent and stared listlessly at the ground, her sapphire blue eyes have completely lost all their luster. They turned dull and lifeless. It's as if she has died all over again.
Usually, the previous reactions she kept having whenever she recovered her memories were losing her consciousness or feeling an excruciating pain in her head. She'd be banging on surfaces, crying out in agony or thrashing about in panic.
This time, though, Anastasia is nothing but numb and traumatized.
