Anastasia decided to get some help from Cathleen and Dave on this one.
She really didn't say anything about Lucien's participation in the science fair since he didn't want anyone else other than her to know. That might turn out to be futile soon, though, especially if he ends up winning the competition. Everyone in school will definitely learn about it.
"But even then, gotta keep my promise," she thought silently in the middle of her exchange with the two.
Fortunately, both of their other friends are still around the campus at that hour. She thought that she couldn't finish the preparations on time if she did them all by herself, so she asked them for some assistance.
"You joined the science fair, Anna?!" Cathleen exclaimed in surprise.
"You've got the brains for that?!" Dave chimed in with an incredulous look.
"What do you mean by that, Dave?" she snapped at him in annoyance.
"Well, I thought for sure you're barely passing science-"
