We can't use flashlights for now since we're still to near the island. We might bust ourselves up when someone sees us.
Though that father at the chapel might be an exception.
He seems to hate wars.
When I was talking to him, I can't feel even a single trace of bad impulse and motives from him.
Rather, I feel like he wanted this to end at all. It may be just for a moment, but his eyes are telling me that he has no prior intention of keeping this chaos longer.
"You can now turn your lights on." I said.
The three of them opened their lights on at almost the same time.
I opened mine too. "Alright..." I raised my head.
The moment I raised my sight on my eye level, my eyes widened at the thing going forward towards us.
"Max—!"
She looked at me, confused. "Huh—?"
It was too late to warn Max.
Her boat was crushed in to pieces before I could even lift a finger to pull it with me.
