Previously:
I ran outside and was almost out of balance when another massive explosion happened.
There are screaming just behind this palace.
I could see a hues of yellow and red leaking from behind the palace.
I was dumbfounded...
"What the hell is happening..." I mumbled to my self. It's like my head is totally blank and I can't hear anything even though the screams from behind this palace is too loud.
I felt a hand grasps my wrist.
My instincts and defense mechanism acts up upon itself without any prior notice and I roundhouse kicked that person.
"Fuck!" I heard the person groaned.
It's too late to see that it was Earl who touched me.
He was blocking my kick with both of his hands. "What the fuck?! Are you trying to injure me again?!" He looked at me like what I did is unbelievable.
"Yeah, my bad. Just my instincts calling." I apologetically smiled at him. "I told you not to surprise me like that." I said.
