The place we are heading to right now seems like a place dragged straight out from a fantasy world.
"What do you call that paradise?!" I asked Sebastian, my eyes still in front. I know that with my eyes right now, looking at this gorgeous paradise in front of us, one could possibly see some stars residing within my eyes. I feel like my eyes are sparkling from awe right now.
"That's our Island. Pangea's Island." He said.
I looked at him in disbelief. "What? Are you serious?"
"What?" He asked me back, totally unbothered.
"With that kind of beauty?! You just named your island like that?! It doesn't even count as a name!" I burst in bewilderment.
"What are you saying." He shook his head. "That island is being lived by us. We are called the 'Pangeas'. Is it not reasonable enough for us to call it Pangea's Island?"
My jaw dropped in disbelief. "I can't believe your way of thinking." I mumbled while shaking my head.
If this island is existing within the civilization's premises, this would be a great asset for them to be a tourist spot and earn money. They would definitely use a fancy word to name it.
Damn, this is too unreal.
Even from this distance, I could see the island's black matte sand while the ocean waves are hitting the big rocks surrounding the shore.
The trees are also quite close to each other so it results into a more remote island vibes. However, within our range right now, we could steal a glance on what was inside the forest like area of the Island. There I could see a very steep palace like infrastructure from a distance. It was built in the highest peak of the Island. I don't know how but it really seems to resemble the ancient infrastructures of Greece. From the pillars, to its ceiling shape.
I couldn't see any person lingering around the island.
"Hey." I sought for Sebastian's attention.
"What?"
"Are we the only people here?" I asked.
I heard him chuckled. "Nope."
"But where are they? I can't see any people anywhere."
"You'll see." He then turned his back on me.
"Go pack your things up. We'll be arriving shortly." He walked towards the helmsman's cabin.
I just nodded and walked my strides towards my cabin.
Before I could even reach my door, someone grabbed my wrist from the dark corner of the hallway and dragged me towards it.
"What the f-" He put his hands on my mouth to prevent me from screaming.
This motherfucker!
I used my free hand to grab his hand on my mouth and stepped really hard on his foot. After he reacted to the pain on his foot I immediately turned my whole body around with his hand still on my grasp.
"Ow ow ow! Let go!" He screamed. Until then, I just realized that he is the guy who dragged me before.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing, you stupid motherfucker?!" I released my grasp from his wrist. I can feel my eyebrows in a tight furrow.
"Damn." He whispered while massaging his wrist.
He stood straight. I immediately took a step backwards and alerted myself from any harm. I'm ready to throw hands.
"You've got real strength. They're the real deal." He said why shaking his head.
"The fuck is your problem?!" I am half screaming already because I'm pretty infuriated of what he did.
"Woah, chill." He raised both his hands up to ascertain no harm to me. "Calm down, I was just curious."
This time, my brows really creased on it's finest. "Curious about what?"
What is he so curious about that he needed to scare the shit out of me like that?
I'm already pretty traumatized from all the kidnappings that has happened to me while I'm in the city. Nevertheless, It's quite normal for me already. I'm blasè to it since it's expected for a daughter of an influential person to experience such things, however, I've had enough of it. If I wasn't calm enough just awhile ago to take proper measures on releasing myself from his grasp, I may have injured him real badly.
"Hm? My deepest apology, Milady, but I cannot say it." He smiled with his eyes squinting close.
He then walked away from me like nothing happened.
"What in the actual fuck is that? Is he fucking insane?" I mumbled to myself. I was left there, pretty confused.
I just shook my head in disbelief. All the people here are fucking weirdos. Are all pirates like this?
Not only did they ruined the existing image of pirates on my mind, they also ruined my expectations for them.
Damn, I can't even think that this is all real.
I reached my cabin and entered it. My luggages are all here. Luckily before they made me depart from my cruise ship, I remembered to bring my things. All my important shits are all in here.
I gripped to the nearest grip bar next to me when a turbulence suddenly occurred.
I remained still for a second before going towards my luggages. I grabbed both my back pack and luggage back towards the front deck where I was with Sebastian awhile ago.
When I'm almost at the front deck, I've got to get a glimpse of what was in front of us.
"Crap..." was all I could mutter.
I ran towards the ship's grip bar in order to get a better view. I released my grip to my luggage and let it slump on the floor.
"This is so effin' cool!" I screamed. Out of all places I've been to, the beaches, the artificial resto beaches. None of them could even be compared to this paradise!
I have thought, from our distance awhile ago, that this place is hella beautiful. But I never imagined it to be this breathtakingly beautiful!
From a distance, the black sand seems to be matte and pure. However, within this range, you could see that the sand is partly shimmering that it appears to have some crushed crystals and diamonds mixed with it. When the sun rays hit the sand, it shimmers like crazy. But you could still see the matteness of the black sand.
The trees are also swaying to the tune of the wind. The wind seems to be more fresh here and less humid. It's really the prettiest place I have ever seen in my life.
I was so preoccupied to my thoughts and was caught in the moment because of the beauty within my view that I forgot I am not alone in this ship.
I heard Sebastian's strides beside me. He was holding my other luggage that I let go awhile ago.
He gave it to me while keeping his stares in front.
I just accepted it and stared at the view in front too.
A minute later, he slowly raised his right hand.
I raised my left eyebrow. "What the hell are you doing?"
He didn't answer me and just ignored my question.
"Well whatever, weirdo." I mumbled and gaze in front of me again.
Within my peripheral view, I could see him still raising his hand's up in the air. Seconds later, he was slowly putting his hand down. By the time it was really resting beside him, I heard a long and loud blow of horn.
I pressed my palms against my ears. I tried to find where it was coming from and I saw a guy above in the navigator's area blowing a long curled horn.
What's the point of this?!
I remained like that until the guy finally decided to stop blowing the horn.
I sighed and closed my eyes. I massaged my temples and ears. Damn, that hurts the hell outta my ears.
I suddenly heard some subtle chirpings from a distance.
I opened my eyes and was shocked to see what was in front of us.
The once void and empty island was now full and crowded with people waving their hands at us. I could barely see some space available in the island because of the crowd.
Just a while ago I was wondering if there is even one single living organism living within the island's premises because of its voidness. Now I can barely see any space without a single person on it.
I was confused on what was happening.
"The blowing of horn signalizes our return. It was called the 'Horn of Hope' by the people living here."
"Another cheesy title huh?" I shook my head. "And why are they even making a big deal out of your return. It's not like you're that significant. I bet you don't even have any single contribution to this land." I sneered at him.
"Now now, that's not a nice thing to say, Kitty." He smirked.
"Oh hell yeah, it is." I smirked at him back.
"Are you sure you're supposed to say that in front of the ruler of this island?" His smirk widens.
"Pft. Nice joke. But it's not like I would definitely believe that kind of lame joke, Mr. Cosplayer." I rolled my eyes.
He remained silent and stared in front of us. I paused for a second and also gazed at the scene in front of us in curiosity.
The crowd of people in front is now as silent as dead and has their heads bowed down.
"What are they..." What are they doing?
He turned his gaze at me. "I really think you should believe it now, Kitty." He smiled at me.
It couldn't possibly be true...
I could feel my jaw dropping. What the...
"Huh?" Was all I could utter.
