The Blood Minion of where Jim's consciousness was in kept struggling but as if it was stuck in quicksand, the more it struggle, the more it was difficult for it to break free!
But still, Jim recovered from shock as he realized that he could still shift his consciousness to the other Blood Minions he had. It was just that he didn't try to do so for he was a little curious to see what would the other party was intending to do.
"Just what kind of bird is this?" Staring at the bird she was grabbing in her right hand, Kristina muttered to herself in curiosity and astonishment.
She already saw lots of many peculiar creatures in the different parts of Encantadia but this was the first time she saw a little bird that she could not see through.
She would still find it understandable if this red sparrow was exuding an indomitable aura or feel the overflowing World Energy from it but the bird was actually exuding no dangerous aura at all and its World Energy was so thin that she found it hard to notice.
So it didn't really make sense for her that she could not see through the bird she was holding.
She was trying to peer through the consciousness of the bird to see what kind of creature was that but as if she was looking into nothingness, only void greeted her.
As Kristina was looking into it with her eyes narrowed in contemplation, she noticed that the blood-red little bird was actually a life-form that did not exist naturally. She just realized that the bird was actually a creation of someone with a high-level Spiritual Energy, probably a human.
"But why would that person create something like a domestic bird instead of a dangerous beast?" Kristina muttered to herself as she tilted her head slightly.
Kristina even tried to tame the bird so that she could see through it but realizing that the bird had actually no soul and had no will on its own, she could only give up that thought.
Her unique technique to enslave the soul of a beast was useless against this bird!
Since that was the case, Kristina could only kill and smash the bird into a meat paste!
Realizing the intent of the other party and feeling the killing intent that escaping from her, Jim was just about to retract his consciousness but to his horror, he found that his consciousness was actually trapped inside his Blood Minion!
Only then he noticed that the other party was already using some sort of skill that shrouding his Blood Minion entirely!
Something like a dark blue liquid enveloped his Blood Minion that even he himself felt that danger was about to happen at any moment.
"What the hell! I need to get out of here or else I'm doomed!" Jim was really in a panic this time and he really wanted to cry!
I'm just curious to see what are you going to do, is there really a need for you to do this?
I will never be curious in my entire life again if I will just end up in this kind of situation!
Jim cursed himself for being impulsive and carefree!
He knew full well what would be the consequences if his consciousness was destroyed here, and that was, his body would remain dormant forever!
Or even if not, the best thing that might happen to him was to lose his sanity and remain insane forever!
Even though he barely listened to a class, for someone who belonged to a Beast Tamer family, Jim would find it hard to remain oblivious to it.
Well, Jim was just complacent at first that he could retract his consciousness at any moment. It was just that, he never expected that the other party was able to do something like trapping him in his Blood Minion.
But of course, Kristina still didn't realize that there was actually a consciousness of human hiding inside the bird. But because of her instinct and for her being accustomed to being careful at all times, Kristina used a skill to trap anything that could be inside the bird before she smashed it into a meat paste.
Be it a hidden soul or a consciousness of any being or a will or some sort of thing that was acting as a connection, everything was trapped inside!
She knew full well that the bird was out of ordinary that even she herself was helpless to see through. She conjectured that this bird was made by a high-level human to scout the whole area.
Of course, she would think about it because she herself was using such a thing as well. She also had her own creations that she spread out to scout the area and she was keeping watch on what was happening around.
Several little dark blue butterflies were dancing across the battlefields and no one took notice of it!
Or even if humans did, they would only think of it as an ordinary butterfly.
The only thing she failed to do was to find the monsters who first leave the area and change their battlefield! And they were no other than the Knights Of Hell and the humans who were fighting them!
It was as if they went pretty far in the short moment they leave and she really was having a hard time tracking their traces.
Not long after, as she trapped anything that could be possibly inside the bird, Kristina then crashed the bird she was grabbing with her right hand!
But to her disbelief, the bird was actually made only of blood! There was no flesh she could see or bones or anything other than blood.
But what shocked her the most that made her eyes widen was that the blood actually was so sticky that it stuck itself on her hand. No matter what she did, the blood just didn't want to leave on her hand!
Even after using her World Energy to remove the blood on her hand, she still failed to do so.
She was just about to use a special skill to remove the blood on her hand but to her horror, the blood was actually trying to suck her blood dry!
At that moment, Kristina felt death was just beside her as she felt goosebumps standing violently throughout her body!
She didn't hesitate any longer and cut her arm immediately with her other hand!
Blood frenziedly squirted out from her cut arm as the hand that left her body turned into dryness visible to the eye.
The blood of her hand was actually absorbed by the blood of the bird she just crashed!
Not long after, another disbelief invaded her rationality. She saw the red bird she just crashed a little while ago restoring its body to its original state. As it restored itself, it stared at her as if it was looking into a fool.
It even shook its head in dismay!
"Just what the hell is this bird!" Kristina really was shocked beyond words this time but at the same time, she was having a hard time suppressing her temper that was just about to explode.
She then took a deep breath to calm herself down and then gathered her World Energy to her cut arm as she said, "Regenerate!"
Immediately, a new hand sprouted out from her cut arm!
As a new hand was formed, Kristina shook her wrist and then curled and uncurled her hand, grateful that she didn't truly lose her slender hand.
She then put her gaze to the red bird before her and saw it starting to fly away.
"Where do you think you're going!?"
Kristina who saw the bird trying to escape from her, snapped her finger as she spoke in elegance, "Perfect Sphere!"
A transparent sphere enough to cage the bird came into view, making the little red bird be trapped inside of it.
The bird inside didn't struggle at all or probably, it couldn't. It was as if the time was halted inside the sphere and the bird was completely helpless against it.
Knowing that the bird couldn't escape anymore, Kristina let the sphere came closer to her as it floated just above her palm.
"Just what kind of creature is this..." Staring at the bird caged inside the skill she cast, Kristina muttered silently in astonishment.
But it didn't change the fact that she wanted to destroy it!
It caused her hand to be cut after all, so how could she possibly let this pass that easily!
Gathering her World Energy on her palm, Kristina was then again ready to cast another skill at any moment!
"Return to where you come from and answer your calling!" Kristina uttered in nonchalance as the sphere on her palm of which the bird was trapped inside floated above her. After which, she slowly curled her hand and continued,
"Calling Of The Oblivion!"
In that instance, the red bird inside the sphere vanished without a trace as if it didn't exist in the first place.
Seeing this, Kristina narrowed her eyes in caution trying to check if the bird had managed to survive. But realizing that the bird really did vanish from existence, Kristina finally heaved a huge sigh of relief as if she just accomplished some sort of high-level quest!
Never came in her wildest imagination that there were actually a lot of birds of the same kind wandering all around the battlefields. Even her Butterflies didn't even notice it!
She then turned her gaze around her to look for the ones who were fighting each other.
Not too far away from her, she saw one of her teammates fighting two humans at once.
Their movements were swift that even she herself needed to focus all her attention just to follow their movements.
Their blades were trying to cut through everything on their way as the forest shrouded in tall trees where the rays of the sun were having a hard time peeking inside, became an open space!
"Interesting!" Kristina muttered in astonishment as she saw the two humans able to stand toe to toe against the strongest Demon Captain in their team.
