Chapter 30 - Meeting Gion again

"Are you speaking the truth?" Fleet Admiral Kong asked with a commanding voice.

"Yes. This person appeared out of nowhere and he caught the attention of Saint Mjosgard. They wanted him to kneel but the person declined.

Celestial dragon's bodyguard attacked but he was easily subdued and even the gunshots failed to hit him. And, just by looking at the celestial Dragons, he forced them to their knees."

A voice from Den Den Mushi reported the entire incident as it happened.

"Who is that person, how did he look? Is he a pirate, bounty hunter, or resident of sabaody?" Fleet Admiral Kong asked. The entire time his face looked calm without a ripple of anger.

"Negative. He's a new face. We captured his image and forwarded it to the headquarters. The only thing we know is, he's a devil fruit user who has control of temperature and extreme heat."

As soon as the person spoke, Admiral Sengoku who was seated in front of Kong had a change in expression. 'Don't tell me it's that brat?'

"Are the celestial dragons injured in any way?" Fleet Admiral Kong asked.

"No. But, Saint Mjosgard wants the Marines to send an Admiral and capture that person."

"I understand." Kong responded and ended the call with a 'Katcha!' sound.

"If I am not wrong, it's one of our own. Kong-san, let's wait for the picture before deciding our next course of action."

"He's the new recruit, right, devil fruit user capable of controlling heat? What's his name again?" Kong asked.

"His name is Blaize, a gifted person. Even Zephyr praised him. It's just his personality is somewhat unyielding and similar to Garp." Sengoku spoke rubbing his temple.

He didn't expect Blaize to provoke the Celestial dragon within a few days of him leaving the marineford.

"As a marine recruit, he has guts and strength to back it. A fearless person like him will definitely become a splendid marine with proper guidance.

But first, you need to find his reverse scale and weakness so that you can keep him in control." Kong explained.

Kong's going to retire in another few months or a year, so he wants the next-in-line successor of Fleet Admiral position, Sengoku, to learn things from him as much as he can.

As far as he's concerned, being a Fleet Admiral, strength comes secondary what's truly important is leadership qualities.

One needs to grasp better how to command their subordinates, understand their needs, and make them follow the orders without a sense of doubt.

And Kong knows, Sengoku possesses such qualities innately.

At that moment, an officer came inside and presented a portrait to Kong before excusing himself. Looking at the picture, Kong then gave it to Sengoku.

In the portrait, he saw the figure of Blaize and his nonchalant demeanor. "It's him! Why did he have to go and provoke a Celestial dragon?"

"What are you going to do? I am leaving the decision in your hands since he will be under your authority in the future."

Clenching his hands, Sengoku replied: "Even though his actions were reckless, he didn't attack or injure the celestial Dragons in any way.

We can let the matter slide on this one. If there's next time, we will punish him accordingly."

"Sengoku, there's no next time, make sure of that. I will handle the World Government on my side, you take care of him."

"Thank you, Kong-san. I will talk to him." Saying this, Sengoku left the office. As for Kong, he contacted the World Government and informed them about Blaize.

-

Unknown his name has already popped on World Government's radar, Blaize once again made his way towards Grove 27 with a sour face as his previous good mood was ruined.

He wasn't a fool, he knew the report of the incident would have already reached the Marine Headquarters.

He plans to use this opportunity and see how the Marine Headquarters will react? Will they send an Admiral to catch him? or...Blaize doesn't know.

He's waiting for the response. The attitude of marines would decide his next course of action. If they choose to arrest him for such a petty reason, he will definitely retaliate.

He loves to be in the marines but it doesn't mean he will voluntarily let them catch him. If it comes to worst, he will just become a pirate and turn the world upside down.

Just as his mind clouded with unwanted thoughts, a sweet voice called him from distance. "Blaize-kun! I finally found you. I didn't expect you to offend a celestial dragon, are you alright in your head?"

"Gion! What are you doing here? Wait...How did you find out it was me and so soon?" Blaize asked, gazing at Gion casually dressed in pink attire.

"Admiral Sengoku informed me and asked me to find you," Gion replied, arriving before Blaize allowing him to breathe a lovely fragrance.

"You smell nice, Gion. What perfume did you use?" Blaize teased, trying to change the subject.

"Don't divert the topic. Tell me what happened?" Gion inquired with a solemn expression as she knows it's not a small affair.

Sighing, Blaize recounted what happened. "Tell me, Gion, do I have to kneel just because they say so and let them shoot me? I don't know about others, but I can't do it."

Gion shook her head, hearing his reason but a question arose in her heart. 'What will I do if asked?'

"Admiral Sengoku wants you to contact him, here!" Saying this, Gion handed him a Den Den Mushi and dialed Sengoku. It soon connected with the latter.

"Moshi Moshi..." Sengoku's voice came from the other end of the receiver.

"Sengoku-san, Blaize here. How are you doing?" Blaize spoke, there was no panic in his voice.

"You brat..." The Den Den Mushi that shared the appearance of Sengoku yelled and soon silence followed. "Sigh...do you know the consequence? You may even lose your life!"

"Sengoku-san, just tell me what would you have done if you were in my stead?" Blaize calmly asked.

There was silence for a few seconds as Sengoku couldn't answer him as he knew his actions won't be any different from Blaize.

Blaize continued: "In fact, the reason why they are still breathing is because of you, Sengoku-san. As I know attacking one might put you in a tight spot.

If not for you, I would have burned them to ashes already!"
