Winter faded as the snow fully covered me and made me go to a deep slumber. It was so cold just like when I first met him. I can't move nor open my eyes, yet I felt like I am drifting inside this big vacuum.
"Wind" the Master called
"You've been a strong-willed, quick-witted, fair, and just. You always put yourself in between and create peace and balance in my world. You united the four seasons in due time and made them learn something and that goes for you too. During your stay, you always let your emotions first and build difficulties..."
"Hey! I'm already grateful for all those things you've said! Why did you suddenly negate it?" I debated and heard the Master's laugh
"Wind... Wind... Are you still holding a grudge on me? Please! You just ruined the ceremony. All you have to do is listen and never argue" he replied
"It's not that I hate you because I do, I don't think it's about the hatred, however, please refrain yourself in tainting my name" I responded
I can move? I opened my eyes and saw the Master standing in front of me, smiling. He crossed his arms in his chest and shook his head.
"Okay, proceed. I will not talk anymore" I said with my hands up
"Nevermind. Let's just talk like this. I prefer doing this to my most beloved villager" he answered back
"Beloved, huh?"
"Come on, Wind. I appreciate Winter's motive for bringing you here in the last moment..."
"Yes, my last time seeing you! Finally!" I replied
"Oh Wind, don't be sarcastic. You see, I am this good and kind-hearted. I will never hurt anyone without any assurance that they'll be safe. Besides, everything you saw, experienced, and dreamed were all made by you. I am created by you, so does Life, Winter, Autumn, Leaf, and the others. These were all created by your mind" he stated
"And the blame now is on me?" I sarcastically responded
"Yes, all this time it's yours"
Okay, that hit me hard. Why did I feel like it was me who all did this? If I am not mistaken, this was just a dream. What happened here may be true or not. All people, all events, and all other things were just part of a dream, even Winter.
"Then..."
"Wind, you created everything. If you're still doubting, I'll show you everything" he exclaimed and swung his hand
I am now inside a carriage. I seemed to be at the age of 10 where my father received a royal invitation. The King invited us to his banquet and I was forced to be with my parents. This was kind of blurry in my memory, but I know that it happened. It's the day before I've been bullied in school. I watched the scenery outside like it was an impulse. I am just a spectator. I can't control my body.
I shouted when I almost saw a bloody accident. The coachman got alerted and stopped before the horse hit the girl who fell in the road. The coachman shouted,
"Get out of the way, filthy garbage! How dare you block the road?"
"Young miss, you shouldn't watch those things," Miss Aria told me
"The girl was being yelled at. Can we help her?" I asked and looked at my father
My father smiled and nodded. He opened the door and our coachman assisted me down. Miss Aria followed me as I ran towards the girl. The other coachman noticed my presence and he was pulled out of words. This is how my life is. If you have status, power, and money, everyone bows down to you. This is how narrow-minded I was before. I held the girl's hand, but she stood up and glared at me.
"Hypocrite! Those rich people who pretend to help the weak, but will tamper all their dreams! I don't need help!" she blurted out
Wait? Is this... Rain? The eyes, the hair? All of it resembles Rain, except she's fierce and a bit distant to me. A man went out of the carriage and bowed down to me.
"It's a pleasure to see the Young Miss of Galester Family. Your father is here too?" he greeted and kissed my hands
"That's too distant, Mr. Harold. Our family is very close to you and I also treat you as one of my family. Please, forego the formalities"
"Despite the young age, I can see the young miss as a fine lady" he complimented
"But Mr. Harold, your coachman should know how to discipline his behaviors. This girl was on the brink of death not a while ago due to his recklessness. This girl deserves to be treated even she has no standing in our society today" I stated and scowled at the coachman
"My apologies, young miss. I didn't know she's your maid" he apologized
"A life deserves to be treated equally because it is our right. Whether she is my friend, a stranger, or a less fortunate, you should not degrade her of being garbage. I am just a child and I can understand what's right and wrong. I hope this elderly know too" I responded
Mr. Harold smiled at me. He patted my head and both of us were surprised.
"My apologies, I just automatically did it," Mr. Harold said
"Don't worry, Mr. Harold. I always love how my father patted my head when I did something nice" I replied
"You're the combination of both your mother and father. How unfortunate you were born too young. If you're just older, I will gladly propose a marriage" he said
The girl tried to run away but Miss Aria caught her. I held her hand and smiled.
"Please don't be afraid. I will help you"
"There's no need for you to do that, Young Miss. I will take responsibility. You must go now, your father will be late at the party" Mr. Harold offered
"Rest assured, I will keep her safe and let you meet her again" he added
"Thank you, Mr. Harold" I replied
"You should visit my house and play with me! I will dress you up and prepare you some tea. We will play all day and sleep together at night. Mother has a lot of fairy tales to tell, I can't wait to see you again" I told her
I went back inside our carriage.
"You just made a friend, Nana" my mother smiled
"You taught me that friends are those people you can rely on. It doesn't matter what is their status as long as you are loyal and is willing to help them"
"My daughter sure is smart. I will die in peace" my father said
"Father, don't say that! We will live together forever!" I spoke happily
When we entered the hall, I was mesmerized by its grandeur. Never in my life did I imagined I will be inside the palace. Everything is shining and beautiful. People were all dressed in a fashionable way that's so astounding. I noticed a familiar figure in the crowd. I unconsciously left my parents and get nearer. This familiarity. I jumped in my consciousness as I noticed it was the Papa Bear. He was dressed in a three-laced suit and is looking dignified.
"Why are you staring to Father General?" a young boy asked
"General?" I questioned
"Oh? My mistake, young miss. I forgot to introduce myself. I am Helian Snowfield. And you are?" he introduced
"Nana Galester. It's a pleasure to meet you" I replied
"Now, a beautiful young miss. Why are you staring at my father? Are you astonished by his looks? his accomplishments? You see my father is a great general he's the greatest of the great! Father always..."
"I'm sorry for my brother's behavior, Miss Galester. He's uneducated with the proper manners and is hard-headed," another boy popped out in the crowd
He looks like the young version of Autumn. Then this Helian is... Heat? Then Winter and Life were here too?
"It's nothing" I responded
"Young miss, your father is worried about you. Please do not leave my side again" Miss Aria said as she got near
"I'm sorry"
"It looks like your parents are finding you. It's my pleasure to meet the young miss" Autumn waved goodbye
Did I meet them all before? Then Sunlight, Leaf, and Dahlia too? Even Ivy? I explored my eyes to see unfamiliar faces as the hall became crowded. Everything turned dark and I am back inside the void with the Master.
"You remembered? That was the banquet for the King's birthday" the Master stated
"How could I forget?"
"You're too young that time" he explained
"But..."
"Nana, it's time to wake up. If you believe all your heart wishes will be fulfilled, it will be. Believe me," he uttered and I was pulled back to reality
