Point of View Change(Azariah)
Hosea shook his head, "Get out of the way, Azariah. The fight isn't over yet."
I frowned, "What? No, I don't think I want to."
He pushed me out of the way, "Get the heck out of here. Hosea might be ok with your ugly face, but I'm not."
"What?" I asked, my voice wavering.
"Just get out of here already, dummy!" he said, pushing on my forehead.
"Fine," I grumbled, walking out the door, "Bye."
Point of View Change(Leah)
Hosea slowly got up and then took another swing at Jenna. Jenna stumbled, but she didn't fall to the ground. "Nice try," she said, grinning, "But it wasn't good enough, kid."
"Shut up," he growled, standing up, "I got this." He twitched for a second, barely standing up.
"No, you don't, Hosea," Jenna replied, smiling. She walked over to Hosea and put her hand on his shoulder, "I don't think you've ever really had full control of yourself." Hosea tried his best to lift his fist up to her face, but couldn't. He collapsed on the ground. Then he suddenly woke up and started walking away. Jenna laughed, "Ha! He's running away! This is fabulous, guys! I just LOVE IT when he runs away! Should I chase him?! OOOH, I wanna chase him."
"NO, Jenna! What the heck? I thought you changed!" Mordecai exclaimed, holding her back, "What the heck is wrong, Jenna?!"
"What's wrong?! You have no idea what's wrong, Mordecai! You're not letting me go beat up that kid, that's what's wrong!" she yelled, turning to Mordecai. Mordecai wrapped his arms around Jenna and picked her up.
"Shhhh, Jenna. It's fine." I walked out of the school, looking for Azariah and Hosea. Hosea was hugging Azariah, whose arms were still at her side.
She looked pretty surprised, "What happened? Why is your nose bloody?"
"Nothing," he muttered.
"That's weird because I seem to remember the fight wasn't over."
"I don't know. I don't remember," he replied, "I don't really care."
"O-ok. Oh, Leah, why are you here?" she asked, turning to me.
"I was just curious... we should probably go back to school," I said, pointing to the school with my thumb.
Hosea nodded, "Ya, we probably should." He started to walk towards the school, but Azariah pulled him into another hug. "Azariah... what are you doing?"
"I'm hugging you, idiot," she responded. After a while of hugging, Azariah let go and we went inside. Azariah had her arm around Hosea, helping him stand.
Hosea pushed her away, "I'm ok, Azariah. You don't need to help me walk."
"Ok, high levels of sass. I'm sorry, which one of us was the one to lose a fistfight to Jenna, the shortest person ever?"
"She's not that short."
"Well she's the shortest person I've ever met and I've met a lot of people. Wait, where is Jenna?"
I looked around, "Ya, where is she?"
"Maybe she's sad because you keep saying bad things about her," Hosea suggested, "She can hear everyone's thoughts, you know."
"Oh no," Azariah whispered, turning to me, "We got closer because of the whole The Nothingness thing, but I never really got closer to Jenna."
"Wait, what?! The Nothingness?" Hosea asked, looking confused.
Azariah laughed, waving it off, "It's nothing. Just a story for another time. That's not the problem, the problem is that Jenna is feeling left out and that's the whole reason why she lives with us, I think. I mean, you know that she never really got along with people on Earth and she was given to us as a precious present. What do we do with the present? We make it depressed. No one likes a depressed puppy! It's all our fault."
Then Jenna walked in, "Azariah, don't be ridiculous. I'm not a puppy, I'm more of a lion or something. I talked to Mordecai and I've decided something. It's not a great decision, but I have to make it anyway."
"What is it?" Azariah asked, her voice cracking.
"I'm moving out to a different apartment," Jenna responded.
Azariah shook her head, covering her eyes with her arm, "NO, no way. This is not happening. This isn't happening, this isn't happening. No freaking way."
"Leah, good news, you can let Alexa move in with you," Jenna said, turning to me.
I shook my head, "I don't want to live with Alexa, I want to live with you, Jenna."
"Don't be an idiot, Leah. Obviously you wanna live with Alexa. You like her, don't you?"
Alexa looked at her, confused, "I'm right here. And, I think I can confidently say that I'm not allowed to live in your guys' apartment."
"Why not?" Jenna asked, sad.
"I'm basically mentally handicapped, Jenna. Why would I ever be able to live by myself?" Alexa asked, mad about having to explain.
"Oh ya. Well, what about what's his face? The kid I fought?"
"I'm just as bad as Alexa, if not, worse, Jenna. Stop trying to replace yourself, idiot," Hosea replied.
"Don't address what I'm doing, Hosea. You're making me depressed. I'm not trying to replace myself. I'm simply trying to take myself out of the equation and putting someone else in. You know?" Jenna asked, nodding.
"Ok, what does Mordecai think about all of this?" I asked, putting my hands on my hips.
"He doesn't have an opinion on the matter and I am definitely ok with that," Jenna replied.
Mordecai looked up from the ground, "Ya, I'm fine with it."
"Oh," Azariah said, "So you brainwashed him. That's great."
"I didn't brainwash him, I simply told him what he should be th- Ya, I might've brainwashed him," Jenna said, giving up, "I didn't do it on purpose, I swear. I just wanted to control his thoughts, what's wrong with that?"
"Everything! There's everything wrong with that!" Alexa yelled, "You have no idea how wrong that is, Jenna! That's a terrible thing to do and you need to apologize as soon as you stop doing that!"
"I don't see anything wrong with this. When I want him to carry me places, I can just make him carry me."
"You seriously see nothing wrong with getting rid of Mordecai's personality?!" Hosea asked, gesturing towards Mordecai.
"Well, when you put it like that..." Jenna replied, slowly, "I'll try to fix him, I just don't know how... yet."
"Then figure it out. Braindead Mordecai is not as funny as regular Mordecai."
Jenna got a serious look on her face, "No. Hosea, you're not allowed to make fun of Mordecai. He's my best friend forever and you making fun of him SHALL. NOT. STAND."
"Whatever, ok? Just help Mordecai so you can be the four idiot amigos or something already," Hosea said, slightly grinning.
"Don't say that about my friends!"
"Ha! They're your friends and you need them, Jenna. Just as much as they need you. They're honestly not the smartest," Hosea replied, smiling, "You just need him, now."
"That's ridiculous, I'm pretty sure no one needs Mordecai... Except for me... Ugh, I hate being so... me. Ha," Jenna said, laughing. She put her hand on Mordecai's forehead, "I don't know... be you? Redo?"
"Oh, hey, Jenna," Mordecai said, smiling creepily wide.
Jenna shook her head, "That's not it, is it? Look, I don't know how to do this." Then Mordecai leaned down and kissed her forehead, "What the heck?"
There was a glow and then Mordecai stood back up, "What happened?"
"Nothing," she quickly replied, "Why do you ask?"
"Everyone's in a different place than they were before... Did I fall asleep while we were talking?" he asked, really confused.
"Well, I'm done with this," Hosea said, "Can class start already? Where is everybody anyway?"
"In class..." Jenna replied slowly, "Don't worry, Hosea and I are the only ones who got detention. Everyone else has to make up their work sometime over the weekend, though..."
"Ugh, that's terrible! On the first day of school?" I asked, groaning.
Hosea looked at me weird, "You really don't like school, do you?"
"Well the last time I went to school, I was popular and my friends all made fun of people. It's kind of weird having to start all over like I messed up or something."
"Oh... ya, I guess I get that. We should probably get to class."
"Shouldn't you visit the nurse?" I asked, looking around. I realized then that everyone else was leaving, "You bled like a whole bunch..."
"Oh, sorry," he quickly replied, "I can walk."
I shook my head, "No, it's fine. Besides, I've been itching to just ditch school already." We laughed, starting to walk in the direction of the nurse's office that we saw during the tour. I opened the door and helped Hosea inside.
"Hello?" Hosea called out.
"What the heck? There are people in the nurse's office on the FIRST DAY?" a voice asked. Then a woman stepped out with a big smile. She had blonde hair that went to her torso and gray eyes. I immediately stepped back.
"Who are you?" I asked, holding out my arm. She instead got closer, "Tell me who you are."
"Azariah, it's just the school nurse," Hosea said, trying to stand up.
"If that were true, The Big Man would be here already. He can't see us right now..." I explained, then I turned to the nurse, "But you knew that already, didn't you?"
The nurse grinned, "Oh, but I don't think it'll be that easy for you to catch me. You see, your friend there is... damaged. Are you really gonna abandon him? And he can't fight, you know. He's only the husk of an angel." Then she jumped up, disappearing into the ceiling. We could hear footsteps everywhere as I kept turning around as fast as I could. I grabbed Hosea's hand, making sure this monster or whatever she was didn't take him. I felt a tug on my hand, so I turned around seeing that weird lady holding my hand instead. "If you were wondering," she started as I swung my fist at her. She easily dodged the punch and continued, "My name is Ellony and I'm here for your soul, Jimmy." I grabbed her arm and I tugged on it, trying to slam her into the ground, but she wouldn't budge. She grinned, "You thought you could beat me? Oh on the contrary... I'll beat you," she whispered, "Because you have a weakness unlike any other." I looked to the ground, my strength failing me. I failed... I couldn't protect him... Why did I think I ever could? I couldn't save Camilla and I wouldn't ever be able to protect my friends. Then I remembered something.

I looked around, realizing I wasn't in the nurse's office anymore. I was in the living room with my family. Mordecai, Leah, Jenna, Domiel, Zadkiel, Abel, and Ithuriel. We were talking about what we're the guardians of and I heard Ithuriel say, "It's not anyone's fault that all the guardian angels of the underdog were more gifted."
(Memory)
I shrugged my shoulders, deciding I could probably just choose how gifted I am. But then she was gone and I couldn't find Hosea. I heard this weird sound like someone... started crying? Then it clicked in my head that it was probably Hosea. I ran over to the noise. I stopped in my tracks when I saw a pool of blood around this dark figure. I could tell whoever it was was dead by now. No one could lose that much blood and still be alive. I just hoped it wasn't actually blood. I walked further, carefully stepping in the blood. I could barely see a face, covered by their arm. "Hosea?" I asked, putting my hand on the person's shoulder. They scrunched up, even more, covering their face. I nodded to myself, "Definitely Hosea. It's ok, we'll get out of here. Are you ok?"
"No, she stabbed me," Hosea whispered.
"You can't die in heaven, Hosea. I hate to say it because you probably want to right now, but you're not gonna die."
"Help me up," he said, sitting up.
"No, just rest for now."
"No, Azariah, help me up. If I really can't die, then why am I laying down waiting to die?"
"That's... actually a good point. It's gonna hurt, though."
"I've lived through worse... trust me."
I turned around and helped him up, "Ok... Do you know how to fight?"
He shook his head, raising his fists, "Nope."
