Beep...Beep...Beep...
Made the noise of headboard of the ship, making a sleepy Gale to wake up and turn the alarm off. He rubbed his eyes and like his new routine, went to the back of the ship, to have a check on sleeping Aadrika.
He smiled sadly, yet contently. Being a good brother like he is and seeing his sister sleeping straight for six months, his hope was breaking. He was feeling lonely and fear was slowly but surely consuming his logical brain.
But he just shook his head in order to shook all those negative thoughts too. He went to her and opened the drawer down her bed and saw the healing spell working properly.
But he knew he has left with only a few more supplies and he needed them urgently to keep the sleeping Aadrika alive. The biggest problem was that he couldn't believe anyone anymore. After the news broke down about Aadrika and him, he was sure no kingdom would want to help and he couldn't risk her life anymore. Where their own kingdom betrayed her, how could they expect someone else to help them? He knew he had to work fast but he just didn't know the way.
Giving up on the thinking he went to the headboard to check if he has found something new. To his surprise, after so long, he finally found a deserted area. There was only sand and sand. But he had never heard about any area like this in this direction. He was doubtful about this, but what else he could do rather than going there and searching himself about the place.
So he decided to land there.
-------------------------------------
Finally, he landed there, and all he could see was the long-deserted area. Even if it was a deserted area he was sure to at least found a cave or something like that. So he went in the search of anything he could grab.
He was walking for so long but wasn't able to find anything. Suddenly his foot hit something making him lose his balance a bit. He noticed a piece of bone in the sand. He started to take it out of the sand but suddenly the ground started shaking and from the sand came out a giant snake-like creature which was having nothing other than bones in his body.
Gale tried to use his powers but in vain, they just didn't work. Before his mind could make any explanation, the creature charged for him. Without thinking anymore, Gale just ran. He ran back to the path he came from. He knew that there could be more of these creatures and they could attack Aadrika anytime soon. He didn't want Aadrika's life in danger anymore.
He made a plan to go back to ship and fly at once. Soon the ship came in his view, but then serpent's hiss reminded him it's presence. He increased his speed and ran into the ship.
Moving straight to the headboard, he tried to turn the ship on. But to his misfortune, it didn't start. The serpent came to the front of the ship and with just one shot it destroyed the glass and entered the ship.
Gale tried to run but it caught him by its tail. It opened its mouth, which was ready with a fireball to be released. Gale just closed his eyes as he knew he would be no more.
He waited for the pain, but it never did and he heard a tuch sound.
He opened his eyes to see a wake-up Aadrika looking straight at the serpent. Gale was so happy to see her sister wake up but in a situation like this, he just didn't exactly know if should be happy or sad?
Serpent released Gale and started towards Aadrika. Gale tried to stop it but with only one hit of its tail, he fell far away.
Serpent circled Aadrika and opened his mouth again to kill Aadrika. But Aadrika stretched her palm towards it and a light blue coloured light travelled from her palm to serpent's head and soon it transformed into flesh and muscles.
Gale's eyes were about to bulge out of his head and he was too astonished to say anything. Out of shock, he didn't move so, Aadrika came up to him and hugged him. Without saying a word they both started to cry. All the emotions Gale were bottling up from so long were now releasing, and Aadrika, she seemed way too hurt by all the betrayals till now. They were really thankful that al least they have each other now.
After they both were done crying Aadrika said, "Thank you so much brother for helping me." He frowned and said with fake anger, "And now you are saying thanks to your own brother huh? Looks like only your body woke up after the six months sleep but your brain is still sleeping. Because you just forget our promise as siblings of never saying thanks or sorry to each other."
She smiled a bit and replied in a sad tone, "Didn't know I had left someone or not." It made Gale look down out of guilty. But she continued, "But just realized my brother was always there for me and always gonna be."
It lits his face as he smiled from ear to ear. He then went to the main business, he asked, "How did you make that serpent alive? What is the dark stone? What happened to it? What-"
He was cut by heavy shivering of ground. Gale looked at Aadrika for the answer and she said, "You are not the only one who needs explanation." With that, she stood up from her sitting place and went out of the ship with a nearly following Gale.
When they came outside Gale was too shocked. There were more creatures like the serpent with only bones and they all were of different sizes and shapes.
Aadrika said, "I am back everyone, you don't need to worry anymore."
She smiled at everyone who were present there and said, "Bring the crown."
With that two people walking on two feet came with a rusted iron ring which from no angle looked like any crown.
Gale interrupted all this, saying, "What are you doing?"
She smiled and said, "You need to watch first."
With that, she took the crown and simply wore it on her head. Soon enough a blue coloured light started to come out of it. It was so strong that Gale had to cover her eyes but what he was about to see was as shocking as the light was to his eyes as this was his deepest heart's voice...
