It was as if this statue was trying to break through the laws of time and space, calling on Nana. Right before one of the icy threads could come in contact with the outstretched arm, Nana instinctively jumped back.
Her body reacted on its own, even though her mind wasn't in the right place. Now that there was some distance between Nana and this statue, she snapped out of the trance and immediately left the area, making sure to avoid other statues.
Nana could have sworn that the statue was looking at her. Even though it never moved, the fact that she didn't see this in her vision made it even weirder for her.
"There's more to this place than I saw," Nana whispered, her voice trembling slightly. "Something is different... something hidden."
Moving with more caution than she had in the beginning, Nana went deeper into the valley.
