"what are you doing" john said as he watched his best friend approach him with a knife in hand and an dead look in his eyes.

the day started as usual john woke up, ate breakfast, and walked to school but today john felt different on his way to school he felt as if he moved faster and when he made it was as if be drove there. john thought nothing of it and continued as normal goong to class and chatting with his bestfriend jaylen (jay) " you coming to the game" asked jay "yea ill be there i heard amy was gonna play today" any was johns crush and close friend since elementary. today was the day he would ask her out " so today your gonna ask her right" says jay "yea so keep it down" he replied in a low tone as if the whole class were listening. the class seemed like it lasted for ever and john couldn't get amy out of his mind when the bell finally rang john and jay headed to the gym to watch the girls volleyball semi finals. when they arrived in the gym the visitors sude was packed with people but john felt as if only one person was staring at him. he felt an energy greater than everyone else but john ignored it and watched the game. the volleyball game lasted for about an hour until it drew to an end they needed one point to win as the ball soared in the air amy lunged towards it she hits the ball and it flies up through the air and straight into the net game over. after the game as the parents and friends of players leave john begins to feel a sharp pain in his head and with that pain a voice "join us" it whispered john body falls and jay rushes over but john pushes him away jay falls and john screams " get out of my head " he the. looks up and see the crowd staring and runs out the back door as he runs in the night jay follows. as he runs his vision reds and the voice gets louder he starts to feel faster and stronger he stops in an ally to figure out whats going on jay catches up and pulls something out his pocket as he starts to approach john.
