He stood up, turning his head to face my direction. It is really Drew. 'Just stay calm.' I told myself. He smiled as he saw me walking towards him.
His eyes widened as he looked up to me from head to toe. I could tell that he seemed very astonished by the way I look.
"Hey." He beamed.
"What are you doing here?" I blurted.
"Alex said you needed a ride." He smirk.
"What?! Ofcourse I don't." I groaned.
I can't believe it. He's fucking crazy.
"I think you should go now." I crossed my arms.
I notice that he is hiding his left hand. I think he is holding something. I can't help but wonder what it is.
"Hey easy! I was just joking." He giggled.
"Stop laughing. It's not funny." I rolled my eyes.
"Yes it is." He continued laughing.
I just stared at him for a moment and he did the same. Here it goes again. My chest is burning and my heart is beating so fast. My mind is frozen like an ice berg. I can't think well. There's really something in his eyes that catches me off guard.
Just when I was about to step outside, he took a grip on my right arm. He raised his left arm and a bouquet of beautiful white roses is in his hand.
"For you, my lady." He smiled.
I held the flower and gently placed it in my right arm. I couldn't help but smile at him in a sweet way.
"Oh. Thanks. What is this?"
"Just a small peace offering." He shrug.
"Are you kidding? This is not small." I chuckled.
"Whatever." He rolls his eyes and laugh at my remark.
"I think we should better be going." I grin.
"Oh yeah I think we should." He replied.
The lady in the counter look at us as we went outside and I could tell that she is a lil bit envy of what happened earlier.
"I'd never thought you'd come to the party." He finally spoke as he turned the wheel to the left.
"Oh I actually didn't have any plans in going but you know, the hotel is just so boring. I don't wanna miss the fun either."
He just look at me and smiled in response.
I just find this so awkward with him staring at me that way. It's like his eyes are telling me something.
"And here we are." He uttered as he shut off the engine.
My eyes sparkled as I step outside the car. This place is so amazing. The parking area is so wide and the house is so freaking big. Lots of cars are already parked outside and I can't shove away this nervous thing I'm feeling right now.
"Wow." My eyes look amused.
"Amazing, huh?" He smirk.
Why does he always have to do that? I just hate it when he smirks.
"Yeah." I replied.
"Hey are you nervous?" He turned his head to face me.
"Of course not." I lied.
"Stop lying Emma." His eyes were locked on mine.
"Well, kinda." I shrug.
"Hey, don't be." He placed his warm hands around my face and grin.
My chest is burning again and my face is heating up.
"Thanks." I gave him a faint smile.
"Now let's go before we will miss the party." He beamed and we both walked towards the main door.
Minutes later, we reached the living room. The music is so loud that I could barely hear Drew talking. Well the music is very nice though and I can't blame the people here if they are dancing like wild animals. Some of them are even drunk already.
"Hey I'm going to get some drinks. Just wait here okay?" Drew spoke.
"Yeah sure." I nod.
I sat near a man with lots of tattoos in his arms. He seemed to be intoxicated too.
"Hey pretty lady." He raised his eyebrows.
"Hey." I replied, trying not to sound flirty.
"Great party, huh?" He uttered as he took a sip on his drink.
I just nod in reply.
"Wanna dance?" He smiled.
I was about to say no when Drew came, holding the cup of drinks in his hands.
"Alex is over there." His lips pointing to the backyard. "He's looking for you." He groaned. Wait. Is he mad?
"Oh. Okay."
I stood up and wave goodbye to the man. He just smiled in reply. I grab one of the drinks in Alex's hand and took a sip on it. Why is he so moody? Like from a moment ago, he was so sweet and affectionate yet right now, he's back to being rude and arrogant.
"Hey what's wrong with you?" I blurted.
He ignored me and went to Mike's direction. 'Great! Now he's leaving. What a jerk! ' I thought to myself. The backyard is so crowded but luckily, I found Alex and went towards him.
"Hey Emma!" Alex hugs me.
"Alex." I hug back.
"Do you like the party?" Alex asked.
"Yeah. It's so great and fun." I praise.
"Thanks." He grin.
"The music is so amazing. Who's your DJ?" I asked.
"Oh he's a close friend of mine. I think you should meet him." He walk and I followed him.
My eyes widened as I saw James waving at Alex. Oh my, is he the DJ of this party?
