"Well, he never said that! However, I'm sure he was one of the Transformers.
Just that would explain why he was able to talk to trucks, tractors, etc…
That or he was just a schizophrenic who didn't take his medications, and talked to himself!
Well, I don't judge him! I also didn't like to take my medications!"
I hang the machete around my waist and walk over to the pile of vines I had gathered before, and start looking for one that is not too long, but also not too short.
After selecting a vine, I walk towards the trees.
As I approach, I place my hands on one of the trees.
I try to use my fingers, to grab tightly the surface of the tree, after do that, I try climbing the tree
"Oh, I didn't expect this really work! Huehuehue! This is really cool! I think it works, because I increased my Strength in the status, so the grip of my fingers is much more powerful than before! Now that I think... I already have a very powerful instinct, and I can climb smooth surfaces with just my hands… When will I be able, to release webs from my arms to swing me around?"
After making sure that I can grip the surface of the tree firmly and that I am not slipping.
I speed up my climb, and in a few seconds, I reach the natural bridge, which was formed by the branches of the two trees.
"Well, now that I'm here, let's measure the surface using the vine!"
…
After a few minutes, I finish measuring the surface of the bridge.
Then, I walk to the edge of the tree, and jump without even hesitating.
I reach the ground on my knees and with one of my arms punching the ground
"Superhero Landing!"
I hear a loud impact sound, the system notifications, and see a lot of dust.
BOOM!
[The host was wounded!]
[The system suggests is: Heal the wound with something...]
"Damn it! Deadpool, was right! Doing this, I really fucked my knees! Okay, next time I'll try to roll, and see if I can reduce the pressure that my knees suffer from the impact!"
I get up, turn around and start looking at the tree, which was above, just a few seconds ago
As I looking, I shortly lose myself in thoughts
"Okay, after measuring the tree, I came to a conclusion... Regardless of the way I place the branches, I don't even have enough wood to make the foundation for the house! Besides that, I'm also, going to use, very tall logs during construction! These logs are not something I have with me now, it means that I will have to go out, and look around, to collect more wood! Luckily, this time, I have Chunchunmaru with me! So it will be a lot easier to cut the branches and trees! Well, I think that before I go to get wood, it is better to reinforce the bridge structure, tying the branches together, using the vine! Let me see, the surface of the bridge is about, eight meters wide, for ten meters long!"
I walk over to the pile of vines on the floor, pick up some of them from the floor, then roll them up, and put them on my shoulders.
With several vines tied around me, I run towards the tree, and when I am only one meter from the tree, I jump
Then hold with my fingers the surface of the tree, and quickly start to climb
When I reach the branch bridge, I begin to walk carefully over the branches.
Then, I take the vines off my shoulders and attach them to a branch, which will not be part of the base structure.
After attaching the various vines to that branch, I take one of those vines, and carefully walk to the edge of the bridge, and tie two branches together
'I'll tie the branches of this bridge, dividing them into groups of two branches! When, I finish tying the various groups, I will tie all the groups together. Therefore, even if the tree sway, with the wind... all the branches swayed together, and to the same side, and not each to one side! With that, I reduces the chances of my house being destroyed, or simply falling from the tree!'
Using the Chunchunmaru, I cut off the remaining vine
Then, I walk over to two other branches, and repeat the process.
I continue with this process for almost an hour, as I am making sure that the branches are tied tightly
After this long process, I finally finish tying the branches of the bridge, in pairs.
Realizing that the vines that I have with me, did not wax enough to tie all the branches, I decided to descend from the tree, to get more.
I jump off the tree, and when I land on the ground I roll, but even doing this, I still hear the great impact sound and see that I still made a lot of dust with my landing.
BOOM!
"Cough! Cough! Cough!
Shit! The dirt entered my mouth! Cough! Cough! I have no problem with the noise, but this dust sucks! Cough! Cough!"
After coughing for a few more seconds, I finally calm down
"That was disgusting! Sigh! At least this time my knees didn't hurt, and I took no damage!
Okay, now that I've worked a little... let's procrastinate a little!"
I get up and stretch my back, as I walk towards the vines
When I reach the side of the vines, I throw myself on the floor, put my hands behind my head and start looking up
I start watching the trees, and then I realize that I can see a piece of the sky through the leaves.
"Wow, I hadn't noticed it before, but the sky here is very clean! I can even see a the stars!
Huh, seeing this, I remember that there are beings that are more dangerous than any monster is the human being! After all, it doesn't matter, how powerful the monsters are they are not on the same level as humans, when it comes to destroying! We kill other life forms on the planet for sheer fun, and pollute the entire environment, while exploiting natural resources, under the excuse of
'We need to do this, to evolve!'
It is in those moments that I am ashamed of being human! Huehuehue! That sounds like a joke!
I didn't expect that observing the sky in another world would make me think so hypocritically!
After all, I never tried to do anything to prevent it! Many times, I even often helped this destruction!
Well, every time I killed any other being, I did it, just to protect my life, or that of people I cared about!
However, regardless, that doesn't change the fact that, I chose to kill them of my own free will! I did it because I was selfish!
I always thought that my life, and that of my friends, was more important than that of any of these beings!
In a way, I still keep thinking the same way!
Tsk! Now I'm sure I can't be a pure Hero, who fights all evil, using they protagonism and the power of friendship, always with a big smile!"
At that moment, a certain thought crosses my mind, and I start to laugh
"Huehuehue! Oh, I was forgetting... I'm not even human anymore! I'm a fucking monster! Well, at least this role suits my personality more! Huehuehue! So look at the sky makes me have philosophical thoughts about my existence, I did not know that!"
I lie still, looking at the sky for about ten minutes
Then I get up in silence, and approach the vines, so I take all the vines, which are on the floor, and tie them around my shoulders.
Having done this, I run towards the tree, grab its surface with my fingers and toes, and start to scale it again.
When I reach the branch bridge, I carefully walk to the branch from before.
Unroll the vines from my shoulders, and hang them on the branch
Then, I take some of the vines, and start tying them together
I spend a few minutes tying them up
After doing this, the various initial vines became just four vines.
Each of them is approximately twenty meters long
I start to check the vines' knots, to see if they are tight
After checking the knots of all four, I hang three of the vines on a branch
Then, I take one of them and walk very carefully, until the middle of the bridge.
Arriving at the middle of the bridge, I firmly tie one end of the vine in a group of branches
After that, I tie the other end of the vine to my waist
Then, I walk to one of the edges of the bridge, crouch, and using both hands, hang my body, on the last group of branches on that edge.
After doing this, I adjust my body so that the vine attached to my waist does not hinder my movements, and I start to swing back and forth to get an impulse.
When I think I have gotten enough momentum, I throw myself forward and grab the group of branches in front of me.
I keep repeating this process until I reach the last group of branches on that other edge.
When I arrive, still hanging, I change one of my arms and turn my body, after doing that I climb on the group of branches.
Then, I untie the vine from my waist, and walk to the middle of the bridge.
When I get there, I support my feet on the middle branches, and using the weight of my body I pull the vine that is in my hands.
All the groups, that were tied in advance, move, and get closer to each other, making this side of the bridge, a little smaller.
Still pulling on the vine, I start to observe, around to see if any group shows signs of cracking or breaking, I spend some time observing this, and after, not noticing any abnormality, I nod with satisfaction.
So, while holding the vine stretched out with one hand, I use the other to make the rest of the vine go around the branches a few times, then pull out that end.
After realizing, that the vine is still stretched, I begin to tie the end next to the first knot, having finished tying, I release a sigh of relief
"Phew! I'm glad it worked! I was afraid the branches would sag when I pulled them out, but it seems like it was an unnecessary concern! After all, after watching for a few moments, I realize that these branches are very firm, but at the same time, they have enough elasticity! Therefore, they will not break, just with the pressure, of being pulled by the vine! Okay, now I just need to repeat this process three times on different parts of the bridge!"
