Two days later, I found out a very horrible truth. Turns out Mat had only been pulling my leg the entire time. I turned to glare at him.
"You should have seen your face when I whispered that we made love", he laughed unceremoniously.
"must have really made your day if you're still not over it yet Mat", I whispered in a low venomous voice, giving hints that I was definitely annoyed that he had lied like that.
He gave a nod and I wanted to choke him almost immediately.
"Were you disappointed?", he asked again and I seriously considered my life choices right then. More like my afterlife choices but the fact was I was the victim of a well-laid out plan by my flirty Grim reaper boyfriend.
"No, not really", I answered even though I was slightly disappionted that nothing intimate had happened between us yet.
I saw Mat stiffle a laugh and I immediately rolled my eyes.
