On the other hand, looking at the profile picture of Mirae.... James started to ponder if he should send her a request and text her or not. He began biting his knuckles when he couldn't find a proper solution and like the Flash, he sent her a request and immediately closed his phone and laid down on the bed.
His heart began to beat louder, and he could feel the beatings till his throat.
But it had already been an hour and he didn't receive any respond. His request was still kept on pending. A thought came in his mind, and he wondered if she even remembered what his name was...
Then another thought came and he shook his head. "She was calling me, Mr. James so, she knows my name."
James began talking with himself thinking as to why the request was still on pending. Gosh! He so much wanted to have a talk with her, but he could only do so when she would accept his request.
By the time, James had sent her a request, Mirae had already logged out of her account. She was watching a drama in her phone. And after finishing two episodes, she got bored and closed her phone.
She again thought of opening her account, but she was lazy to do so hence, she kept the phone on the table and went to sleep. This was the reason why James couldn't message her even after few hours had passed. Finally, he gave up and went back to sleep.
In the morning when he woke up, he noticed the dark circles under his eyes.
A stupid smile came on his face, and he said, "I got dark circles because of you, Miss Mirae." He looked into the mirror and pouted his face.
Rubbing slices of cucumber on his eyes for a few minutes, James got ready for work. This time, he decided to drive by the café in the morning time instead of the evening time.
And soon he reached there only to see a few people walking by after reading the note stuck on the wall. James looked here and there, and he didn't spot any familiar face. With a long sigh, he drove for work.

During lunch time, James was discussing some ideas with his client regarding the house when his phone buzzed. This meeting between him and his client was going nowhere so, James took this as a chance to excuse himself and get a cup of coffee.
But before that, he wanted to check what the notification was about.
And when he looked at the notification tab of his phone, a huge smile came on his face. He quickly opened the app and read the message which was from Mirae.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't see your request." He read her message and chuckled.
With his slim, long fingers James began to reply.
Mirae was almost done serving the last table in the new café when her phone made a ding sound. She went inside the staff only room and took out her phone from inside her pocket. A smile came on her lips when she saw that it was a message from James.
"I thought you forgot me, Miss Mirae." As Mirae read his text, she could hear his voice and imagine the sly grin on his face.
"I thought that you forgot about me, Mr. James." Mirae replied back with an emoji.
"I forgot to take your number that day, Miss Mirae otherwise you wouldn't had to wait for me." James gave a smiley emoji and typed again "Can I get your number?"
Before Mirae could send her number, she was called and she quickly kept her phone inside her pocket and continued to work. Throughout her work, Mirae had only one thought in mind and that was the number...
Meanwhile, James stared at his phone thinking that he would get a reply or something. But when he didn't... he thought that he might have offended her and quickly unsent the message but it was futile to do so cause the message was already read.
When the client saw James looking at the phone frequently, he asked "Is Mr. James Park waiting for someone's call or text?"
This client was a good friend of James and so, he was teasing him.
Hearing him, James quickly took the phone and switched it off. "Let's focus now!" He asserted with a smile but no matter how much he tried to focus, his mind was only drifted to one place and that was his phone.

These entire two days, Mirae and James were both glued on their phone. They were texting one another, sending a few snaps of how tiresome their work was, sharing what they were doing and trying to know one another.
As days passed their texts progressed into calls and they began to call one another whenever they were free from work.
Mirae felt very comfortable to share her everything with James and James was happy and contented that she was sharing things with him and hence he was doing the same. But he wanted to see her.
It had already been a month since they last met and they knew that it wasn't possible to meet at their workplaces and also there was not going to be something called a coincidence or fate for the fourth time, they had to arrange it somehow.
And so, James was the first one to ask her for a meeting the next weekend. However, Mirae denied saying that she had plans with her friends. Therefore, they were to meet the next weekend after that, probably something after two weeks.
James scoffed and sat on his couch... He felt so good talking with her, a minute away from her and he felt bored... so how was he even going to wait for two entire weeks? This one month, James adjusted it somehow but another two weeks, James felt it as a big no.
But his stress was all gone when he received a message from his parents that he was to come to The States because his father was not well. And James didn't take any more time to decide for it. He quickly booked the next flight and left for States.
However, he did inform Mirae that he was going for a short time.
Even though, they hadn't met again after that meeting, Mirae felt lonely thinking that James had left for States. Now she wasn't receiving that many calls or texts from him and so, things were a little normal or a little less than normal. It was like they both were used to chatting and calling with each other.
