Later in the evening at quarter to six, Ah-Yeong got dressed and came out of her room to go out but was surprised to see the house decorated beautifully. "Is there something special today? Is this actually my house?" She asked herself while observing the beautifully decorated house.
Sang Hoon was talking on the phone. When he noticed Ah-Yeong come out of her room, he hung up and walked towards her.
"Is it nice?" He asked while looking at her. He could see that she was happy and smiling. He couldn't help but doubt whether she was feeling this happy because of that man or just because the house looked decorated beautifully.
"It is beautiful!" Ah-Yeong didn't notice him looking at her. She admired the chandelier which was hung on the ceiling. It was shining brightly and those cute lights made her feel joyous. The house was beautifully lit with bright golden lights. The ceiling was covered with pink and red roses. There were colorful balloons everywhere on the floor.
She couldn't help but smile seeing the dull house so bright like this.
"Is there something special today?" However, this was the first time she saw the house being decorated like this. So, she asked being confused.
Sang Hoon shook his head. His thoughts were just doubtful. 'How could I even doubt such an innocent soul like her?' He asked himself and again shook his head.
After removing his thoughts, Sang Hoon replied while still looking at her face which hadn't looked at him until now. "It's my birthday today!" He smiled noticing how beautiful she looked with that light shining on her face.
As Ah-Yeong heard Sang Hoon's words, she looked at him surprised and asked "Your birthday?"
Sang Hoon was very much taken aback by her sudden turn and he quickly averted his gaze. Soon after, he gave a nod while looking back at her. When Sang Hoon gave a nod, Ah-Yeong quickly mouthed an 'oh' and apologized.
"I am sorry. I didn't know that it was your birthday today."
Sang Hoon waved his hands in the air and said "No, you don't have to apologize..." He scratched the back of his neck and continued in a low voice "You and I never shared anything from our own lives so, it is fine."
Ah-Yeong slightly nodded and turned around to leave.
Seeing her go away, Sang Hoon wanted to stop her but he felt his throat dry. No words escaped his mouth and all he could do was turn to his right and see the living room which was decorated neatly.
Then he remembered something and he rushed out after her...
Ah-Yeong who was just starting her car saw Sang Hoon rushing towards her. She lowered down her window when Sang Hoon knocked on it.
"You needed something?" She asked while looking at him.
"Yes. I want you to come home before ten. Everyone will be home. I will tell them that you went out for some work. So, hurry back home, okay?"
Hearing his words, Ah-Yeong felt like he knew about where she was going... Well, the words he said made her feel that way. She nodded again and left. On the way, she was only bugged by his words and she couldn't remove them out of her mind.
"If he gets to know that I am with someone what will his reaction be? Will he be this calm and quiet like how he always is or will he change into a man I never witnessed before?" As she began to think on her way, she felt a little bad towards him.
She had been with him for almost three months and in these three months, she got to know that Sang Hoon was a good person. He wasn't like those men who only wanted to marry for their desires or on their parents' request.
She also knew that he was having some feeling towards her. That much she could understand from his gentle and shy behavior whenever they were together.
This was also the case of her whenever she was around Dae-Hyun. During high school, she used to be very shy and blush at every little thing or compliment given by Dae-Hyun.
Even now she used to do, but not that much.
After waiting for six years, Ah-Yeong no longer had a need to be hesitant because if she was going to be hesitant, she knew that she was going to lose Dae-Hyun again. Yesterday after seeing him with his university classmate, Ah-Yeong realized that if she was to do something wrong, she was going to lose Dae-Hyun again, once and for all.
That time, she was the one who wanted to have a breakup so that he could be successful and this time it would be Park Eun-Jin who was going to take Kang Dae-Hyun away from her. She thought.
As her mind was now flooded with Dae-Hyun, she no longer felt any sympathy for Sang Hoon and she hurriedly drove to Dae-Hyun's place.
"Yes, I no longer have to think about him..."
Ah-Yeong gave a big smile and knocked on Dae-Hyun's door.
A minute later, the door was opened and Ah-Yeong walked in. As Dae-Hyun was closing the door, she wrapped her hands around his waist.
Feeling her hands, Dae-Hyun chuckled and asked "What's wrong? Shouldn't you be angry with me? I feel your hands around me..."
"Make love to me! Please!"
"But all of a sudden? I mean you just came..." As Dae-Hyun turned around to face her, he was pushed to the door and felt soft lips on his own. He couldn't deny Ah-Yeong who was looking at her with pleading eyes.
The reason why Ah-Yeong was eager to sleep with Dae-Hyun was because she wanted to forget about Sang Hoon. No matter how much she tried, she wasn't able to forget the man who prepared a porridge for her and kissed her forehead.
Although these were just menial things and the fact that Dae-Hyun had done more for her... she still couldn't just stop her brain from thinking about Sang Hoon.
Her mind only and only thought about him and his gentle words.
Even if that was the case, she just wanted to divulge in something and forget about Sang Hoon.
She no longer had that feeling of making love with Dae-Hyun yet, she continued.
