An hour passed with her just dilly dallying here and there. She thought of doing her school work but she was in no mood to do so. Opening her phone, she began looking at the photos when her eyes fell on one particular photo.
It was of hers and Dae-Hyun's. They both were sleeping together. While Dae-Hyun had his eyes closed, Ah-Yeong was kissing him on his cheeks.
"I miss you, Dae-Hyun. I miss you so much, Kang Dae-Hyun. Just come back to me."
Keeping the phone closer to her chest, she laid down on the bed. "I want to see you." Whispering good night, she closed her eyes with a smile on her face.
This particular photo, she had taken it when they had slept for the first time together. It was when they had graduated from their high school, young enough to sleep with one another.
After their break up, she had deleted every photo of theirs but she didn't know how this photo was left in her phone. Nevertheless, it made her feel good. Right now, she just wanted to see how he looked like, was he the same like before; or had he changed....

The next morning, she dressed up and walked out of her room. As expected, everything was untouched inside the fridge except for her having a bite from the box yesterday.
She took out the same box, heated it and ate.
There was no need for her to be taking lunch boxes or something because if she wanted to eat, she could just go and eat at the canteen.
Locking the house after her, she sat inside her black Nissan Altima and drove off. One thing which felt good about living with Jung Sang Hoon was that she never had to think about money. Sang Hoon was rich not that much but he was able to afford everything. And now that she was having a job of her own, she didn't have to be dependent on him or either use his money.
When she and Dae-Hyun were together, they were happy living side by side but the problem was money. Whenever she wanted something, Dae-Hyun had to work hard to help her get what she wanted.
And whenever she didn't wanted to buy anything, Dae-Hyun somehow used to surprise her by bringing the best of the best gifts.
She didn't wanted Dae-Hyun to be working like this and stressing himself out. A twenty-year-old working various part time jobs only to please and surprise his girlfriend, that was really too much.
That is why, in their relationship, money was the only problem.
And when she got to know from him that he was going abroad to study further so that he could earn well, Ah-Yeong decided to break up with him for his own good. She wanted him to be successful in his life.
She had seen her parents struggling to give her the best life. While Dae-Hyun, he had to work by himself because he was an orphan.
And when he had decided to go abroad and study, she didn't wanted to be a hindrance to him. Therefore, despite of him saying to wait, she broke up with him only to give him a successful career.
She thought that it would be easy to forget about him but it never was the case. Everything reminded her of him and she waited for him to come back.
But who was going to come back when that person had lost his everything?
Thinking about the harsh words which she said six years ago made her regret her decision.
Instead of breaking up with him, she could have said a yes, said that she would be waiting for him. But she was just a dummy to think about his career and not about either of their feelings.
When Ah-Yeong reached her school, she parked the car and quickly walked to the staff room which was located on the first floor. This school had two floors and it was a very huge and spacious one.
NS High School was also the school where she had graduated from. So, for her to get a job as a teacher in this school was a wonderful thing. She was very much acquainted with the entire school because she had studied for four years in this school.
It was amazing to get a job in the same school where you graduated from.
Choi Ah-Yeong was a Chemistry teacher. Since another teacher who was with her had resigned from the job, she was the only chemistry teacher in the school. Already her work was very much, now that the other teacher had resigned her work had become double and she soon needed some help.
And there was news that someone new was going to join today. And she hoped that the person would be someone who would apply for Chemistry teaching.

She greeted the teachers and walked to her desk. She gave a deep sigh and sat on her chair. There still was time for the classes to start so, she began to sort out her desk when the principal stepped inside.
Everyone stood up including her to greet and she froze after seeing the man walking behind the principal.
"Dae-Hyun?" She muttered with shock visible on her face and maybe that small voice was loud enough for the man who had entered to hear because he looked and smiled at her.
"This is Mr. Kang Dae-Hyun, he is a graduate from our school like Mrs. Jung Ah-Yeong. And now he will be taking the vacant position of the teacher who resigned."
When Ah-Yeong heard what the principal said, she looked at Dae-Hyun with wide opened eyes and mouth. He was also going to teach Chemistry in this school? She couldn't believe that at all. Kang Dae-Hyun always resented studying Science and now to see him stand in front as a chemistry teacher, she couldn't believe it at all.
And why did they had to meet at a school out of all the places? A school where they had many different memories....
"For the time being, Mrs. Jung Ah-Yeong would be helping you out till you get properly adjusted. If you have any queries, just ask Mrs. Jung." With that the principal told Dae-Hyun to introduce himself.
And he did.
Hearing his husky voice, Ah-Yeong questioned herself 'How long had it been since I heard this voice?'
And her subconscious mind answered after her 'Six years.'
She snorted out loud and everyone looked at her direction. The principal raised out an eyebrow at her and she gave a smile.
"Welcome to NS High School, Mr. Kang." She bowed.
